    hahaha Actually I'm hoping someone would respond to a thread I started on our local underground drinking site here in town. No one knows who he was. I called into the paper forum though and left a funny message. I'm gonna look in the paper tomorrow and see if he was arrested or not

    Ok so here's the deal. My 23rd b-day is on the 18th so I'm having a party that weekend. Traditionally it's always just jumpers and maybe an odd ball here and there. We gather around the bar, drink etc. We're determined though to make it better, open it up to more people, friends of friends of friends. Now we need a theme: 1: PJ/SLumber Party compelte with neekid twister, TeenWolf, 7 mins in heaven, jello wrestling, ninja turtles 2: Stop light party, jello wrestling of course too 3: Pimp n Ho's party, jello wrestling, softcore porn etc 4: Toga party, cornish game hens, jello wresting etc 5: Give me your idea Everyone is invited to come too if you want to drive/fly to KS

It was intended to tell a funny story of what happen that night, not a gun debate or anything else. Whatever, steal my thunder and for those who NOW are going to reply to it. I don't care about your gun views, laws, opinions or anything else. That's why I never turned it INTO a debated issue. Edit to add: I put it in the bonfire so those I knew could read the story about what happen instead of sending out emails to everyone. So can i repost it and say DO NOT REPLY so I can keep it there?

    I agree with what everyone is saying about the noise of a shotgun. I'd want the security system, not to alarm the police, but to notify me of someone in the house. I'll attack the person, that's fine, I just don't want THEM sneaking up on me!

    Its not so much the sight...its the sound that gets people's attention. If some perp is so fucked up on drugs or alcohol that they're not responding to immediate danger, then you have to seriously wonder WHAT could have been. Security system is a decent idea, expensive. Dogs are great, get the dog trained correctly. [edited out and sent via PM] Actually the security system from ADT is only 32 a month... Not bad. What's the cost of a shotgun hehehe

    You are correct, no training what so ever on a blade, but I knew which one was the sharpest and the longest, letting me be furthest away. If my roommate had been here it wouldn't have been a problem but he's down at Mardi Gras right now. It was funny cause he called at 330-4am and I told him I had a good story for him, which he doubted was better than the story he had to tell me. We're looking into a security system and a dog already. I know it was just a drunk, or so the kids says, but it still kinda got to me. If I had been home alone, I'll admit it, I'm a pussy and would have cried I won't comment on other options as it's the bonfire though they did come to mind. In all honesty though, I don't think the kid would have even realized I had a gun pointed at him, he sure didn't seem to mind having 2 guys with swords
