Wingsuit demo and smoke, how to pop it
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Cold smoke, just the stuff that paragear sells (but red not white), m18's were too expensive and frankly, just scared me too much. We'll each be wearing 2 cans stacked side by side on our left foot with a proper release system that will allow us to chop the bracket in flight as needed without having to reach our foot. The smoke should be here today or tomorrow, but if they're like the white smoke, don't the pins have to be pulled straight out in order to work properly? -
Wingsuit demo and smoke, how to pop it
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in Wing Suit Flying
We're planning a wing suit demo and are planning on jumping smoke. 2 red canisters on our left foot, cutaway system at arms reach, everything all worked out but popping the smoke itself. There will be 2 of us exiting a 182 side by side. We were thinking of having a 3rd person in the plane to reach out and pop the cans for us on the step. Does this sound like the best way as it's very hard to reach down and pop them ourselves while on the step. The other option is to try to fire it remotely with a string/wire. Anyone have any experience doing that? -
What did you learn this weekend? 4/15-17

When swooping and carving, try not to hit the wind blade with the edge of your canopy... The end result is kinda painful -
Let's get it on Or the House version of ADIDAS only cause that was the first song I heard at a club once in Cali

Lock everyone in a room with a time bomb, that'll get them to start worknig together and work like a team...

I bought my classic 2 for $400 with 20 jumps on it. I'd say 300-350

The question of this thread was more pointed at the fact, in the event that someone does enter your house and you do not know who it is, do you have the right to draw a weapon on them? Not saying we did, but we both do sleep with them in the event that the unspeakable happens. The person was removed by the police and will be arrested for criminal tresspassing if they return. Again more of a question, you don't always know who's walking into your room, so do you hestitate to draw or not? Not saying actually use it, just to draw it. Is that legal then withdraw once you assume the risk involved, i.e a potato peeler or not lol

That's what I was worried about...
-
No, not trolling, being dead serious cause she broke into our house, stripped down and crawled into bed with my roommate... That's not a troll, considering we each have a weapon in the room and various throughout the house.
-
We filed with the police last night and they removed the such person. They refused to leave, were warned about the police, refused to leave with the police here even. Needless to say, it was an interesting night
-
First off I don't want to turn this into a debate but... Here goes Someone enters your house unwelcome and comes into your room. Do you have the right to draw a weapon and if so, if you were to injur them, would you be held liable for it if it was a case of breaking and entering, you had advised the person many times not to contact you ever again. Roommate and I are curious is all

I have a friend who went to RPI
-
Nope, didn't make enough money to have to file
