It was actually October for the SC County Fireworks thing, 2-3 weeks before the AFF course. Jess spotted and asked Schoobi what he thought. Schoobi hardly even looked and just climbed out after Dana left on his board. Jess knew they were screwed and took it around. I was on the six-way with video (Mikey Clements) first out on the second pass. On the video, you can see the rescue boat zipping around to get people - this is seen from freefall! I made the beach with room to spare. 7 others, including Schoobi went swimming. 5 CYPRESes and Chris deBar's Sabre were destroyed. Gotta go - dinner's ready! (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.

Just wondering where it says you can't have a gun on a private flight. There's probably a grey area with most jump ops since that's really a commercial operation. You and I both know some people who have done it - but one's a cop (SWAT) and the others are PJs. (On second thought, I've never actually seen the PJs jump with weapons at Marina or Byron.) If you really want to jump with a "weapon" jump with a toy or replica, then switch after landing. Or use paintball, airsoft or laser. (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.
