Let's see, 24, seperated from husband Aug. '01, started skydiving May '02 and divorce was final June '02. Probably wouldn't be a skydiver if I wasn't divorced, but didn't start skydiving because of the divorce. Both were the best descions I've ever made. Well, after some questionable weather at Skydive Michigan we finally got our air evaluation jumps in yesterday. And I passed both of them on the first try! Wahoo! I'm officially a USPA Coach now! Christina

Well, it was a combination deal. I knew I wanted a sunset with the silhouette. The skydivers and plane were taken from photographs and shrunk down on a xerox. Then I also like the swirly trible looking tatoos so asked if the artist could incorporate something like that into it for clouds. He also came up with the idea of breaking up the circle with the plane and skydiver so that is wasn't a perfect circle type thing. So then he drew out the total design and it was just perfect! Well, I'm an engineer at big company, and I've hated my job ever since before I started it. So I've decided that now is the time to do something about it rather than waiting around hating my job for 10-20 years and then wondering where my life went. That's right I'm quitting, telling them I'll be gone Jan. 1, 2003 and with my vacation it'll actually be closer to Christmas. I'm selling everything I own, except my gear and my cats, getting a camper van and going to hit the road! Yes, I've thought long and hard about this and I'm sure this is what I want to do. Yes, I know the consequences of what I'm doing. You can call me crazy but I'm still going to do it. Some many posts about cutting away from relationships just thought I'd throw this one out there too. I cut away from the relationship over a year ago, officially the divorce was final this past June. Hey, anybody up here in Michigan. I'm in Midland for the week and I went out to central Michigan skydivers yesterday and did a jump. I'm around tomorrow and Thursday too. So if anybody can come out and make a jump let me know! I think I'll be at central michigan skydivers tomorrow and maybe out at Wild Wind in Saginaw on Thursday, I hear they have experienced jumpers there on Thursdays. Christina
