Kind of hard to shut down Russian tampering when the President is working against you. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Pretty sure I just saw him advocating for Russia at the G7 even though they have a slew of tariffs against us that eclipse those of Canada. The funny part is that the reason they aren't utilized is because we have sanctions against them and don't currently send those goods. But anyway, yeah, that's who your non-limp dick politician is speaking for...as in giving with nothing in return. As far as NK goes, I think this was a good move since there needs to be a relationship in order for there to be leverage. We'll put a pin in this one and see what we get in return. In my state you cannot walk out of a store with alcohol that's in a loose bottle or 6-pack, only an enclosed case, they legally have to put it in a bag. Because: "It is illegal for any individual to drink or offer a drink of alcohol to another individual in a public place (excluding areas licensed for on-premise alcohol consumption). Under Virginia State Law, a person can be fined up to $250 if caught drinking alcoholic beverages in public. Constitutes a Class 4 Misdemeanor." This is all in an effort to curb public intoxication by limiting how easy it is to get it from hand to mouth in a public area. In the meantime we're a firearms open carry state. That looks like a bunch of victim blaming by some gun-nut unwilling to consider gun violence objectively. That's a pretty low resolution list but put it this way, it's also saying that there's no need to own a firearm as long as you follow those steps. It's analogous to the common claim of many smokers that if non-smokers want top breathe clean air, they should feel free to stay home. It's also factually inaccurate, but that's nothing new for gun-nut rhetoric. So it does the dual duty of invoking the points that we shouldn't have to restrict our personal freedoms just because others want unrestricted access to firearms and also that firearms are entirely unnecessary for self defense if you're willing to restrict your personal freedoms which means we can have tighter gun control measures and choke the supply chain. Maybe Fox's truth/fact filter was offline. Trump isn't a dictator. He just works for one. He sure as hell acts like he wants to be one. During the 'patriotic songs' rally that replace the Philly Eagles appearance (Trump cancelled the Eagles appearance when it became really obvious that many of the Eagles were not going to show up), there were throngs of "Eagles Fans" in attendance. But they were wearing suits. And they weren't drunk. And they acted civilized. Nobody climbed any light poles. So some of the reporters questions whether or not they were real Eagles fans. It turns out they were WH and congressional interns and RNC staffers. Who were told to show up. https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/the700level/who-were-all-those-eagles-fans-white-house-today So we have a President who has to order staff members to show up at an event. How is this not despotism? I like this picture of the "volunteer attendees" for an event that was (Trump's words) "actually bigger than we had anticipated." https://s.hdnux.com/photos/73/62/32/15672966/3/1024x1024.jpg Notice how they're spread out to make the crowd size look bigger. That looks like a bunch of victim blaming by some gun-nut unwilling to consider gun violence objectively. That's a pretty low resolution list but put it this way, it's also saying that there's no need to own a firearm as long as you follow those steps. If we all agree to that logic, which does make sense in many regards, we can go ahead with further restrictions on firearms possession which will have a trickle down effect (Trickle-Down Gun Control) of slowing the transfer of guns from the legal to illegal market. Even if you could find a way to stop the 14 to 19 year old dissatisfied male set from being resorting to violence they only represent a small fraction of the firearm violence in the USA. Massive cutbacks in firearm availability are what is needed. And I don't see that happening anytime soon. But one day it will. Exactly. I'm happy to see anything that reduces the ability of mass shooters from getting their hands on assault rifles but the moves that will reduce the number of guns in the country will also do the same but with much better outcomes. You'll probably have a better outcome calling an Uber rather than keeping a bottle of liquor within arms reach because you drive drunk so often that this is a realistic scenario. Yeah, I know we're talking about internet lore. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I don't know if it's of consequence other than to indicate how old/out of date the gear is but this rig still had the curved pin and had not been updated. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher -

My God, I would love to hear the video interview from the ketchup thrower. That would be an instant hit alongside the "Ain't nobody got time for that" lady. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher -
Why doesn't Trump's administration follow the law? With a government full of Trump appointees working on Trump programs at some point you have to admit the truth: Trump is a deep state liberal plant put there to destroy the GOP.j I look forward to everyone who was such a Trump supporter back peddling a few years from now because the GOP political fad is to be anti-Trump. From a Mueller fan page, throwing some subtle shade that Trump's people will call their discovery of Manafort's tampering a "tampering trap". That's right Marc, we now understand that any form of investigation is somehow an illegal act. https://www.facebook.com/RobertMuellerIII/ Clarification: That is not a verified page. Taking them will never work, will never happen. The degree to which the government would have to invade people's lives would create the very thing that the amendment was written to defend against. It's better to think in the long term and limit sales to FFL's, penalize for illegal sales, etc. For those guns that are out there that gain further restrictions (assault rifles) they would have to be grandfathered to existing owners and any sale would enter it into the legal market via an FFL (just like they do with machine guns). People eventually get rid of their illegal weapons by destroying them or turning them in. I've known a few perfectly respectable people who had illegal weapons of unknown origin and they eventually decided they needed to retire it via a commercial grinder. It'll take some time but they go out of circulation. We'll definitely see some under the table sales but that's no different than what we see now. I had a discussion on Facebook yesterday with somebody who refused to admit the attached was photoshopped. To her it was clear evidence that Obama bowed to traitors. her son used to post here and has very well thought out opinions, but she would not budge. The propaganda machine in the US is extremely powerful it would appear. Are you sure it's photoshopped? I mean, it looks more like they use MS Paint. 4600 confirmed deaths directly resulting from the aftermath of the hurricane. The official statement is that the loss of life is so high because of the state of the water and electrical systems on the island. Of course never mind that a response to a disaster should account for exactly what you're responding to and provide accordingly. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44294366 Of course the response, being something akin to patching with band-aides leaves the island in a worse condition going into this year's storm season: http://time.com/5296589/puerto-rico-power-grid-fragile-storm/ Now that it's all on the table, what will we do about a US territory containing over 3 million US citizens? I'm not into shit like that but if I were and something got stuck up my ass I would use the opportunity to go into the ER and complain that I was having trouble pooping and didn't know why. Also, I'll leave the entire cord attached trailing behind me. Hey, may as well just go with it. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher -
I've linked a few articles from the mental health field, I have yet to see one that says they can diagnose the at large US population for their likelihood in misusing a firearm. They can recommend treatment because of past actions and the fact that they're undergoing that treatment kicks them into state/fed law restrictions. Their interest is treating mental illness not getting into the business of who can or can't own/possess/transport a firearm. I think we've adequately covered the idea of the US government overseeing anything of this nature. Here are the state by state laws: http://www.ncsl.org/research/civil-and-criminal-justice/possession-of-a-firearm-by-the-mentally-ill.aspx Views of American Psychiatric Association's president, Dr. Renee Binder: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/science-isnt-golden/201510/top-psychiatrists-stunning-announcement-about-gun-violence Mass Shootings and Mental Illness: https://psychiatryonline.org/doi/pdf/10.5555/appi.books.9781615371099 "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Wrong. Some of us have VERY extensive professional credentials in various subjects. There is a difference in standing between someone who had their gall bladder removed and the Head of Surgery at Johns Hopkins, or between a Camaro owner and the Chief Design Engineer at Chevrolet. Admittedly, the 'authority' can be wrong and the novice correct on an issue, but the odds generally don't favor such a scenario. I contend that the Chief Design Engineer at Chevrolet is wrong about allowing a 4 cylinder option. That's something that should not exist. We're all laptop experts as far as most of these issues go. The people actually experiencing it (school children) seem to get shouted down as liberal puppets when they speak their minds. Anyway, they'll all be voters soon and it's obvious they can't depend on us to solve the problem that is real to them but only hypothetical to most of us. There's no such thing as no harm, no foul, or that if they don't know then they shouldn't care. I've racked up a very long list of those things and they are not absolved by my religious beliefs. I carry guilt, shame, regret through my life and they too are a part of what shapes me. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Would you accept mandatory psychological testing every 6 months for every single American past the age of 8? Could you imagine a DMV equivalent of someplace you have to go to get your head examined?
