  1. In the previously posted link about that it said the text messages "indicated" that Kavanaugh of some people associated with him were trying to keep that story quiet. ABC News has seen them but they're the only ones so far. They need to be shown to everyone. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  2. The question is, do we bar people who aren't choir boys? Of all the people on that list the worst verifiable offense is when he pulled his wiener out and the next is whether he was lying under oath. Ford: I believe her but we have to give him the same benefit of the doubt we do her until it can be verified. I don't think this window dressing of an FBI investigation will accomplish that. Ramirez: Sounds like it definitely happened although Ramirez is the only first hand account. The issue of him lying about knowing about this is a real issue but we haven't seen the proof. Swetnik: She's now contradicted her statement by saying that K was only near a punch bowl and she suspected that he was spiking it. So basically he was doing exactly what you do at a drinking party if he was even the one doing it and not just drinking it like everyone else. Contradicted her statement about him being in a line outside of a room by saying she remembers him being in a hallway with other people talking and laughing and there was a door near them. Contradicted her statement that he was in the room while she was gang raped by saying that he was at the party and probably in the proximity of the room when she was assaulted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq_aFCg6bKY All others: Confirm he's full of it about not drinking to excess. So, lying under oath. If it can be shown he was suppressing the Ramirez story and then lied about knowing about it he'll be disbarred, much less be eligible to join the SC. The other things are much more difficult to prove in a court because there's a much higher standard for proof, STILL, that can be used as an assessment because again, this is an interview not a trial. 3. I desire eternal salvation for others. My happiness is not related to or determined by their decision. Who are these "others"? Considering you surround yourself with only like minded people and your interaction with those whom are not already converted is extremely limited, it would appear "others" really means you and those like you. 4. With the girl he wiggled his dick at? Yes, if he said in court that it never happened (or this was the first he's heard of it) and there's proof of him acknowledging that it happened a while back... I saw a glimpse of that earlier. Can't find the link now. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  5. I'm sure you guys have seen someone walk in after getting trashed and say, "Oh man, what happened last night?" Even with a statement like that and the hypothetical conversation you posted you're still asking a witness to make an assessment of what someone's drunkenness was 30 years ago. It's pretty thin footing and fairly subject to someone becoming the subject of the rumor mill that they get black-out drunk. Even K stating that he drank responsibly in college is pretty hard pin on him as a lie considering the frat-boy scale of drinking. So yes, we can agree with the assessment that people remember K as a pretty bad drunk without K thinking that of himself. Remember this DOES now become provable in a courtroom if it's a perjury issue and those requirements are much more stringent than our professional opinion. 6. I don't think any of that really has legs. "Parties like that.." Easily a figure of speech in which he can say "that" means a party in which Ford was in attendance or including some combination of any specifics he could state or dismiss after the fact. Because he was at a party with four other people that was "like that" isn't grounds enough to fry him because of some literal comparison. "The women I knew in college and the men I knew..." Easy to have a higher opinion of yourself than others do, especially if you're prone to blacking out. "And the drinking age was 18.." He simply got it wrong. " . . .was there ever a time that you drank so much that..." This is sort of paradoxical because by definition you're not going to remember what you didn't remember. Besides, nobody can state what another person didn't remember. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

  8. Kavanaugh has a long history in DC and many people have spent a lot of time and political capital to put him in this position. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  9. Did he get a timeout? Or just done playing with us? Dammit Man, I just disproved global warming and all you care about is Rush? "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

  11. Absolutely. He wasn't advocating this point of view until it was safe to do so. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  12. In YOUR world where you don't want people prosecuted for sexual assault I can see why you're so concerned with a minor being sexually assaulted. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  13. We now have one recanted (the boat story) and there are two people who stepped forward who say they are the ones who Ford is referring to. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  14. Same as if he engaged in gang rape after being sworn in. There's an investigation and determination of criminal wrongdoing and if found guilty and that act disqualifies the person from the requirements of serving the office then they are removed. Basically, the vote can continue and if Kavanaugh is found guilty in 2019 or 2020 or 2021..... Republicans should seriously think about that. 15. This should launch an investigation that should dwarf simply looking into Kavanaugh's background. More witnesses need to come forward. With something like this they're out there. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

It's amazing how quickly you turn on one of your own. Here's a veteran who is trying to save his own life and you dismiss his issues just because so far he's actually been able to pay for it. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  17. I think that's an aspect of her being swept up in this rather than proof that she was lying. As for why she didn't go to the authorities think of all the reasons why if you were a 15-year-old female in 198X you would not have gone to the police or even your own parents. 19. When I talk about this with my denier friends I tell them that very soon they will be the ones trying to say that Republicans and commerce leaders are trying to solve this but that Democrats are harming their efforts by making it political. 20. Quite frankly, that illogical train of thought should be sufficient to disqualify him from the bench. Any bench, not just SCOTUS. I'm not sure what there follow-up statemet would be, "Oh yeah, that night when Kav pulled his dick out...nope, that never happened. I wonder if he still has that John Belushi shirt he was wearing when he didn't do that." "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

  23. Meant to say "one specific source". As in that there's no other corroboration to the story of the one person who walked out of the room. All other stories and rumors come from that one person and her interpretation of what happened which is that she was afraid that he was going to rape her or inadvertently kill her. That reaction is very real and has affected her life but he did not rape her, he physically assaulted her. We don't know what he was going to do because the other person intervened. From what she says he pinned her down, he put his hand over her mouth and he was pulling at her clothing. Is it possible that her assessment of what happened and what was going to happen was incorrect? Is that enough for him to be disqualified as a Judge on the Supreme Court? Is is fair to base a decision as to whether he is qualified on her assessment? I'm bringing up a terrible aspect of situations like this that you still have to give all parties the benefit of the doubt. I don't agree with his politics and would rather have someone else in this position but even she did not want this to go public. I'm fairly certain that Feinstein leaked it to see if there were any other women out there, so far there are not. If there are then that will corroborate this as not being an isolated incident. 24. Those are all examples that are separate and independent whereas the incident and rumors have no specific source. Rumors that go around a high school have almost no credibility, who was the person who began this rumor, was it her, was it a friend she told? There's a sort of evidence trail that's important in validating claims. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  25. I saw a good quote the other day something along the lines of that the lesson 17 year old boys need to take from this is that your actions as a 17 year old boy do have an impact on yourself and others. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
