That's right. They were testing an engine on a 208 test frame. https://www.flyer.co.uk/magnix-tests-new-electric-motor-on-cessna-ironbird/

Then it's just a question of whether it's better for the batteries to "top off" while boarding or charge the full cycle. OK, someone go buy one of these C206's and all the necessary electrical infrastructure and let's see how it goes!

I guess it'll matter what's required to maintain flight plus 30min? 80% charge time is about 40 min from zero so that seems better than I thought. And in latest news. NASA and GE work to make an inverter better suited to commercial flight. https://www.zdnet.com/article/ge-nasa-partner-to-advance-the-future-of-electric-flight/

This is a classic case of Tit for...... nevermind....

My first thought when any of this broke is that Giuliani and anyone who helped Trump in this will soon be "that guy who grabbed coffee". Also, it's just too funny to bring a Watergate lawyer into this. I mean...let's not draw comparisons or anything....

To play devil's advocate, the issue isn't about targeting pregnant asylum seekers but not giving them preferential treatment (aka, acknowledgement of their medical risks and basic dignity as humans). Trump's people should like this because it's broadcasting to the world that we're not going to let women in just because they're pregnant.

I would take that mostly to be in reference to what Lend Lease did for the war effort.

And now you're stuck with the saving from Solar getting shoved down your throat like a polenta kale smoothie. I'm skeptical of such installations too because some of these groups operate with all the effectiveness of a HOA committee.

I would hope they're not going to do something as dumb as tying themselves into a long term flat rate AND be on the hook for the balance of the construction cost. You'd think Republicans would learn that Socialism is bad...

This is a good case for how shortsighted and pointless the push for voter ID is. Wouldn't have mattered in this case, the system worked and the person got caught, wasn't about ID anyway, person committing fraud who was the most capable of do it on a large scale still could not do it on a large enough scale to have any effect upon the election. Simply put it's a waste of money and the effort is a blatant political move to get people to not vote.

Are you saying that a million dollars is all they'll ever have? They can do all of it, you know, go get involved.

Greta's Regatta - But that one would have to be a sailboat.

Share it. This post is for learning about these developing methods. For us that birdy needs to turn so that's what I'm most interested in. For basic airline usage they may be able to afford a 30 minute to hour long sit on the ramp but we can't.

Next up is the required space. The area required to install the quantity of solar panels needed to entirely displace coal energy production is 2500 sq miles. The amount of area leveled for mountaintop removal coal mining is 2200 sq miles. So basically, we have the space too.

Then you're saying that you're going to move to China and the rest of us need to move faster to eliminate fossil fuels from our own market and the world market.

Here's what's going on in the poorer countries: 35,000 people forced to leave their homes PER DAY. https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-asia-49854753/the-displaced-climate-change-in-vietnam-destroying-family-life Seem's like a rather immediate and devastating issue but how's life in Pa?
-
So you're saying you want to move to China where they're making everything great again?

If he doesn't have that capacity, then he needs to be impeached for incompetence. At some point this investigation will have to cross the threshold that he didn't know that the conversation he was having was based on a conspiracy theory and yes world, that's our President. He is too dump to impeach for he does not know what he is doing.

This is more like what I had in mind: Or (Couldn't get the gif to work) https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/48081edb-c684-4635-b9b5-6e632800813d/gif#SJxxBsz13PS.copy

Straight. Fucking. On.

No, they don't. Even Trump didn't realize it and that's what makes this whole thing so dumb. He believed the incorrect narrative that Biden stopped an investigation to protect Hunter Biden. Edit: Adding for emphasis. This whole thing is happening because our President believes Fox News conspiracy bullshit.
-
Yup, my first reaction when reading the whistle-blower report was that the call was small potatoes compared to the work involved in hiding the conversation. It looks like Trump and Co quickly realized that it was in the open and chose the smart path of opening up all the information to limit the damage on that behalf.
-
If it were out of the blue then it wouldn't be appropriate. If there was a news bubble telling Trump that she did something illegal then I would expect him to discuss it in the course of a conversation. In this case that has not been shown to be the reason for the call and there has been a news bubble (albeit tinfoil hat level) about Biden and his son's relationships in Ukraine. If further records and information show that Trump initiated the call specifically to get dirt on Biden then that swings it closer to what you're talking about.
