    It's just unnecessary. She hasn't identified the problem to be so unique as to require a different packing technique from 95% of skydivers.     This is what I do and I also use my knees to keep the pressure on the cocoon after I lay it down and get the D-bag ready and also as I'm putting the canopy into the D-bag. Don't bother with the psycho pack. There's probably one person at your DZ who saw someone do it once. Additionally, its recommended that you have an extended bridle attachment point in order to bring the D-bag around the side to orient it correctly.     This is exactly why I have mine set low. I was finding that I was starting to ignore the other indicators of my altitude; my altimeter and the horizon. I would rather add this third element to the lower altitudes 2.5k, 1.5k , 1k because my assumption is that if I'm that low then something else is going on that has robbed my attention from the first two.     It wasn't dumb in the dangerous way or your example but before I left for a vacation one time I was stuck at work, could think straight, didn't care and needed something to do.     Maybe no way he could have known but I shot video on one of our TI's who at least guessed correctly. He had reached through the loop when he tossed the drogue.     Oh SWEET. The HOFF! If we have time in the morning we'll add those. In the meantime we have GFD's all pasted across his screen. I can't get on there because someone else got on his computer and changed his settings so his mouse would hardly move, he has to hold keys for 2 seconds before they'll type, all sorts of crap. Basically his entire work station is hosed and it'll probably take all day to figure out the various traps we set. We added random wav files for commands so I'm sure he'll just give up and unplug his speakers at some point. I hope he takes it well, he's only been in our office for a week...
