    I've given this show a lot of chances and I just can't relate to any of these douche-bags. I'm outside of the 18-35-year-old target audience so maybe that's it.     Do a tandem event involving members of your specific target audience at either a conspicuous location or somewhere that's easily accessible by the press and public. Make the goal a quantity of tandems in a given timeframe. Publicize the goal as raising awareness for the rights of writers, musicians, whatever it may be.     From 3000 ft and down your time is spent setting up your landing, not learning your canopy. It's a waste of a jump unless your specific objective is ONLY landings and for some reason you don't want to maximize your canopy time.     I'm from DC and know all about this school. This is where the richest and most high profile people in DC send their kids their children. So yes, there are 11 armed guards. edit: and to clarify, they send their kids here because they SPECIFICALLY are targets. I don't know about the guy you're referring to but he's probably one of the other rich people who want whatever it is they think Sidwell will give them.     Yeah she was a "gun nut", not that it's a bad thing, and he shot her in the face. She failed to keep her guns safe from criminal use and this massacre was the result. I take what people see as the liberal view because if we as gun owners cannot fix the problem IN A METHOD THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE VOTING MAJORITY, then the decision will be made FOR us.     Family friends have reported that she taught him to shoot. Personally, I keep my guns safe. In fact they're at my ex- cop friends house because I have no way of securing them in my own.     Any real solution is either going to be inexpensive and elegant or nothing. And we're not starting an arms race inside the 100,000 schools in America or have some kind of TSA equivalent. Do you know who first proposed this idea 16ish years ago? Matt I'm going to go blind on this one because you probably think that since I'm looking for an unarmed solution that you're going to completely blow my mind and say it was John Kerry or Bill Clinton.     The downside is we spend a lot of money on a stupid idea. This is like GM saying that the only way to have fewer accidents on the roads is for the police to buy more cars. Sure, it's ONE solution but no ONE solution is the best solution or the all encompassing single answer that will make everyone happy, which is what this is more about.
