Can't wait for the trump post Comey tweet summary. Comey is a liar, never said that, etc., etc. On one side Comey, no mention of any history of lying. On the other hand trump who has a mental aversion to the truth. The trump budget....history.... in the dustbin of trump's scandals. Tim Kaine would already be the President by this point if Clinton got elected and did this. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I would have voted for almost any Republican who ran against her and I don't think that's true at all. How can you say that suddenly we're on this ridiculous almost daily roller-coaster and it has nothing to do with Trump? Edit: "Hil"arious. No panic here Bill I am just enjoying the show

We're going to start seeing this more and more and it will go something like this: Scientists and their liberal celebrity spokesmen did not adequately present the information or provide solutions that would reverse the effects of global warming. The "facts" they presented were barely emotional appeals and the solutions were half measures. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Stay classy libs I don't think it's proper to bring Barron into any punchline but it's kind of a stretch to say that this is a joke deriding Barron vs a joke deriding Trump as looking like old meat in a dumpster. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

We chose the conditions of our agreement and there is no penalty for not meeting them. What, does he want the world to also pay us if we don't meet the time table? "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Post purchase dissonance. Post Purchase Cognitive Dissonance is the phrase we give to the state of unease which exists in the customer’s mind after buying a product or service. You buy a car and then you think you paid too much for it? The jacket which looked great in the trendy boutique doesn’t look quite right for the romantic night out with the wife? The politicians you voted for aren’t delivering quite what you hoped for? https://abranddayout.wordpress.com/2010/05/10/post-purchase-cognitive-dissonance-avoiding-disappointment-requires-honesty/ The 23 million who will lose insurance under trumpcare...and ...Marc. Is that also why people will say they had the most amazing meal at an obviously overpriced place and then when I go there it's OK but I can cook everything on the menu? Looks like she's still trying to milk this. Playing the victim now and saying she's been bullied by the Trumps. Let's not move too quickly on the Betsy Devos jokes, I'm still getting mileage on the thing about bears and guns in school. I wonder if she just panicked and thought "um...we need the right to bear arms in schools....um... OOH BEARS!!" "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Hey Marc, just wondering here. You do realize that "jumping the shark" does not involve anyone riding on a shark, right? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=jump%20the%20shark LOL Are you trying to impress yourself? This shark jumping term really needs to be clarified. Here's the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4ZGKI8vpcg It then became a phrase for when a TV show sold out with some kind of a gimmick and lost viewers. The conversation was about Flynn not the overall investigation of Russia meddling in the election. For the purposes of an investigation towards coercion that's an important distinction. We don't know exactly what was said but Flynn has NOT stated that he was coerced and he is only now saying that his testimony will include the fact that Trump asked him to stop going after Flynn. We know that Flynn's response was something other than "No" but that's where that story end for us. As for the firing, Trump has said it's about the Russian investigation but didn't say why. Just because Flynn was part of that Russian investigation doesn't mean it had anything to do with it. Even though we're all pretty sure Trump's motivation was to get rid of Comey because he didn't swear fealty and because Trump didn't like the negative publicity he was getting because of the Russia investigation, there's nothing that's linking by proof one thing to the other. Again, the cause and effect seems pretty obvious but so far the proof isn't there. Comey is a smart guy and the FBI's job is to provide actionable evidence so he knows better than to testify anything but facts and he knows not to interject with his opinion and get the whole thing thrown out. His simple statement that Trump asked him to stop investigating Flynn needs to stand on it's own. It may very well get tied into a path leading from cause to effect but that's a pretty big "if" at this point. It's very hard to prove someone's motivation for firing you unless there's the most blatant evidence on the table. Trump asking Comey to stop investigating Flynn over the course of one conversation does not constitute obstruction. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I just had this conversation with some friends of mine. There's a big difference between coersion and just asking him to drop it. Comey has only said that Trump asked him, his answer was obviously, "no". There needs to be a lot of proof in order to connect him saying "no" with him being fired. And again, as far as we know, this conversation was only about Flynn, not about the rest of the Russia investigation. He did NOT say that he's now going to testify that Trump forced him. Here's a good writeup on those for and against it who have Trump's ear: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/05/31/climate/trumps-is-hearing-plenty-on-the-paris-climate-agreement-who-will-have-the-last-word.html "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Oh what will The King decide? What we do know is that it doesn't matter what he knows about the agreement or the environment, this is a matter of popularity. On one had there's Rex Tillerson who thinks we should stay in, on the other hand there's the anti-environment (GW deniers) who want us out. This sets the stage for the moments that Trump loves the most, the world waiting with bated breath for him to speak. I'm sure we'll hear a little about his great campaign and what he's done for the country and at the end the deciding factor regarding the words coming out of his mouth are what will give the best ending to the show he's created. Yeah, I was just responding to idea that the picture shows it as "wide-spread" when most pictures where one event. However, there were definitely many more out there. I looked it up when this thread came up and found this guy. He made a video of the whole thing with some guest speakers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxjPHAg0T64 Crazy as fuck, is all I can say. To be fair, 8 of those pictures are of the same person. He's some nutbag who was trying to start a "National Burn Obama's Effigy" day or some BS. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Lame cry for attention. She's just trying to make headlines for a little bit, ride out the negative backlash, apologize and then she'll be back to her normal terrible show. Ha, as I was typing this I got a press alert that CNN cut ties with her. I hope she "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

We played a game we just called "Loose Change". You need a change container or change drawer. You drop your pants, grab a handful of change (no picking), shove the handful between your ass cheeks, walk 10 steps and drop the change. The person who carries the most money wins. There was change sitting around for a long time and everyone knew not to touch it. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Don't give them yes/no questions. The best way to deal with a language barrier is to get them to explain it to you. If you ask them yes or no questions they're just going to say what they think you want to hear regardless of whether they understand it. This takes more time because they have to cover the material back to you at each step. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
