Don't let actual research get in the way of your preconceived notions. You, and who ever else arbitrarily dismissed the numbers because it didn't suit what you wanted to believe are free to conduct and or cite your own studies. Until you do, of course, you're just burying your head in the sand. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

A good summary of why it should not be legal in terms of actual damage done to the women: http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/persecution/pch0261.htm It links to a few studies from here: http://www.prostitutionresearch.com/ which in turn has studies all over the place, here's a good (long) summary: http://www.prostitutionresearch.com/pdfs/Myths%20&%20Facts%20Legal%20&%20Illegal%20Prostitution%203-09.pdf The gist of it all is that legal prostitution increases crime, legal prostitutes are raped more, have more mental health issues (ptsd, suicide, etc), are still exploited, are still forced into prostituting (4 out of 5 women in legal brothels want out), so on and so forth. On the bare surface, sure, it may look like no one is getting hurt when you legalize it, but research shows that notion couldn't be farther from the truth. It's important to compare SS to the historical returns of very low risk investments, not the market as a whole. it's important to compare your expected rate of return for the life time of the individual paying in. If 2 people pay in starting at 18 through say, 68, the person who branched into the market will be far better off than the one that just relied on SS -- even more so now that SS is bunk. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

Negative. The market has historically returned 10-12% and that's far, FAR better than SS. SS also has the new historic honor of paying out less than than what people put in ( http://moneyland.time.com/2012/08/07/social-security-now-takes-more-than-it-gives/ ) and it's only going to get worse from there. SS is not a good retirement plan, and it won't be long before its a complete wash. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

Of particular interest to me was (1) the confirmation of the socialist agenda by the ACORN founder, (2) how they used expendable blacks on the front lines for plausible deniability and, (3) racial issues are perpetuated by the liberal left. Her closing comment, "Black people are wanting someone to tell them the truth. They are just whispering among themselves." Of particalar interest to me is how people will believe anything they see on YouTube, because it fits their "view". Of particalar interest to me is how people won't believe something they see because it doesn't fit their "view". You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

I jumped a 1.07 from jumps 27 to 160ish. Went to a 1.17 when my friend was selling his canopy and someone else wanted mine and it turned out to be an even swap more or less. It's a lot zippier, for sure, but I'd have been more than happy to stay at 1.07 for another 100 or so. It really depends on your tastes. I thought I read something about when the Army was testing two outs they decided that the flare didn't add anything to the landing of a biplane? You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

Because the MSM isn't in the tank for Obama? And this isn't that old of a talk... I want you to think for a few seconds... If this was credible, why wouldn't the Republicans have even pushed for an investigation years ago? Without a doubt Obama has been the most investigated (and by that I mean by weasels looking for bullshit) President since the founding of the country, but somehow -this- is being held up by the "media?" Gimme a break. They did push for an investigation. But when the democrats have a super majority in the house and senate, a democrat in the white house, and Eric Holder as the attorney general, well, lets face it, it ain't gonna happen. Now a days, all efforts are going into Obamacare... ACORN is kind of old news. Look at Fast and Furious and the NPP voter intimidation case that Holder dropped as well. The whole admin is corrupt as hell, from start to finish. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

Dinos thrived with C02 concentrations 17-18 times what they are now. 400, hell, even 800 ppm isn't going to do anything. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions. -
http://www.gallup.com/poll/102943/republicans-report-much-better-mental-health-than-others.aspx Probably has something to do with the fact that the right has better mental health than the left :) You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

LOL - that's a good one. The url you list is clearly a Christian 'abstinence and adoption are the answer' fantasy group, but the numbers do appear to be supportable. It is possible there's a bit of trouble with the measuring of births versus abortions within city limits - they can't measure the number of births that occur across the river. No idea if people would actually migrate elsewhere for prenatal care. It seems unlikely...who would chance needing to get through traffic when the water breaks? I guess you missed the next post where the same stats are quoted from the NYT? Or are they a Christian abstinence group too (which btw, by no means, means they lied about what NYC released). Please continued to bury your head in the sand on the stats. It's quite amusing. And if you're in doubt about my PP statement (can't tell), you might want to look up a little lady by the name of Margaret Sanger. How about keep 13 but get rid of 100? Is that really too much to ask? Is that completely unreasonable? Retardedly high-cap round magazines do the cops a favor. They are notorious for jamming (like what happened). You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

I expect so, also. But, when you look at abortion statistics in NYC, something like 3 out of every 5 black children (IIRC) are aborted. Something is way wrong with that picture, IMO. Complete and utter right-wing echo-chamber bullshit without any basis in facts. Where did you get those numbers? How about from NYC itself? Or is that a right-wing echo chamber? http://nyc41percent.com/ Anyway, it's not that surprising. Planned Parenthood was founded with the intention of killing off all the black people. it's a marker, not a gun, and yeah, it's easy. Gimme my old automag and I'll hose the guy down. Upper end markers can throw out some serious paint in short order with plenty of accuracy. Now, change it to an old, singleshot pump, and things get interesting ;) You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

You still don't get it, I see. Imagine going to a club. Upon paying a $10 cover charge, you receive two coupons, each good for $5 off a drink. The drinks' regular prices start at $8. Some consider it a penalty that they have to pay $10 towards two drinks just to get in the club. Others consider it a discount on their first two drinks, since they had to pay the $10 cover to get in anyway. Both groups are correct. It doesn't matter whether it's called a penalty or discount. It's the same thing. Just as we can look at the ACA tax as a penalty, we can consider the American Opportunity Credit to establish a penalty for not enrolling in courses at an accredited institution of higher learning. Likewise, the Saver's Credit establishes a tax penalty for not contributing to an IRA. A rose by any other name … This assumes I want to go to the club. Going to the club being analogous to living in the US, of course. No, in context, at least prior to the craptastic behemoth that Obama care is, I didn't have to buy insurance. If, say, I had $1000 a month, and buying insurance would cost say, $100 with a $10 rebate / tax break, whatever, I'd be down to $910 when it was all said and done. I could choose NOT to buy insurance if I wanted to and stay at $1000. I'm choosing not to go to the club. Now you're saying I have to go to the club, and you're going to take my $90 whether I like it or not. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
