it's not so much a conspiracy as it's doing his job. at this point it's most likely whoever DB Cooper was He's dead. the only money found was at Tena Bar, which suggests that He might not have been able to spend any of it, therefore failed. the official story is that He died. all of which is a great deterrent to any would-be copycats. there's no good argument for them to ignore Vickies most reasonable request to just compare the prints after all. if He was the jumper it would be in their best interest to finally have an identification. but if they compared and couldn't find any matches with him. then the speculation begins all over. I'm not suggesting a cover-up, I'm suggesting the opposite. deliberately ignoring her requests for fear of what they might find. same reason no one is gonna look for that briefcase in the attic.

Sorry Orange but isn't one of Vickies possible clues that her father was not seen or heard of since 71. This means he MIGHT still be a possible suspect? and that being the case, is why the FBI won't compare his prints. Vickie is respectful and docile enough they don't have to worry bout her yelling or causing a public relations problem, so they don't need to officially address the possibility of her father being the norjack hijacker. in fact He supports their official dictated explanation better if they never do compare his prints. and thats all thats needed. plausible deniability. remember the primary function of Larry Carr is to prevent bank robberies not spend tax dollars proving someone got away with it, which could influence copycats, as was the case with McCoy. much of the public doesn't realize, it's completely legal and standard for police to lie, and by doing so if they were to accidentally or purposely break a law, they could not be held accountable for it anyway, as long as they were "on the clock". lying for police is only unacceptable when in a courtroom under oath.

not real comforting that the jump gear given for norjack wasn't realistically operational, especially considering the FBI didn't know if he was going to jump with a hostage or not. I don't see how the FBI can insist that he didn't secure the briefcase or his shoes to himself in some way. unless of course someone was there watching which, according to the public evidence isn't possible. what were essentially left with is a dictated official story that ignores serious holes. who is to say he didn't feed the canopy our the door first and didn't even need to pull to begin with? sure it wouldn't have been a pleasant jump but still seems survivable. far too many assumptions in this official story, only evidence that could prove it is either non-existent or not-public. considering the age of this case, why with-hold anything at this point?

I see some flaws in the official theory. wouldn't need to survive a no pull if he checked the chute before jumping. why are we just assuming he didn't? officially it's assumed he had no jump experience because otherwise he wouldn't have jumped? really? thats like saying everyone likes Justin Beiber or all white people are neo-nazis. it's like a catch 22. he can't be experienced because if he was he wouldn't have, and if he wasn't experienced he died. and was washed out to sea or, not, or ??? all plausible I guess, but no more plausible than He checked the chute to see how it worked. so far everyone who claims to be in the know, or has had access to the FBI files more than the rest of us says theres all kinds of things not released but, when asked what that is, it turns out pretty much all of it has been made public? it can't be both ways. and the public shouldn't be expected to just accept an official story just because so and so says this is how it went.

no I'm not a farm kid, his farm was more of a hobby farm to begin with and a place to store his private airplane. I don't know if the 2 were used together or not, the other chute I saw was a white one that had been used for a dropcloth while painting cars. could either of these chutes fall within the description of the chutes that were given to the Norjack hijacker? I have also heard claims that even if he did survive the jump he would have died in the cold. but here in MN, today it is 0 degrees, later this week it will be as cold as 100 degrees below zero with windchill factored in. this is not a rare occurance. when people survive these conditions here every year, why shouldn't they be able to survive much less harsh conditions in Washington, especially if the person is from MN?

my story is pretty simple. but does not address the money that was later found at Tena Bar, which remains a mystery to me. "DAn Cooper" was "DJ Cooper or Don Cooper" and he was my father. he was a ATC in the Army, a pilot in private practice, an avid outdoorsman, who went to seattle in November of '71 to apply for a job at Boeing. after arriving he discovered Boeing was laying people off instead, so, he improvised the hijacking or had planned it prior to leaving MN in the first place. He spent the ransom money on construction equipment and silent partnership in a cement business. for xmas of 1971 he gave me and my siblings commercial jet replicas most likely purchased in the airport gift shop, I believe these are the items that were in his paper bag, he brought on board. a few years later He and my grandmother gave me a toy airport and toy commercial jet, my father commented that the airport looked like "Tacoma or maybe Seattle" and role played with the toys with me, He named a blonde stew toy, "Tina" and used a cowboy toy to represent himself, who sat in the back of the plane with a toy suitcase, hijacked the plane and jumped out, to meet two other toys in a car nearby, representing my mother and myself. at this point the other adults at this xmas gathering began yelling at and scolding him until he left. I didn't see him again for years at a time. during a drunk phone conversation he confessed to hijacking an airplane and stealing the money. my mother accumulated as much incriminating info on him as she could and stashed it away in the briefcase that was used for Norjack, which I last saw being placed in an attic. after stealing the money, he stopped writing as much as possible, he had his teeth pulled which altered the appearance of his chin, and grew a mustache. he had opportunity, ability, and motive, as well as confessed. as a result, I have been using the name "Jamie" ever since, when my actual name is "Donald Jason" which is why (among other reasons) caretakeral addresses me as "Jason" thats my story in a nutshell. Sorry Jamie didn't mean to offend you. I agree that you answer questions. I think for the most part Vickie appears to be much more open to the possibility that her dad might not be Cooper - that is what I find attractive. It could simply be a factor of how people come across on the internet and it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. I like her and her approach as well. not relevant to the subject or discussion though. emotions shouldn't factor in for the investigator, except only to factor in the emotions of witnesses and/or suspects. I'm completely open to the idea that My father may not have been the hijacker as well. this is another prejudice I've encountered here while being stereotyped with other posters. I don't currently have physical/tangible evidence, unless the envelope is capable of producing a matching dna sample,or his military records have matching fingerprints, or the briefcase is found and it's contents were to be as damning as my mother felt they were. as has been said here before, all I have for the most part would be considered "anecdotal",or "circumstantial". neither of which would do much in a court room. thats not to say court rooms are the acid test for truth either. I thought I made that clear in my first post when I came here, and was instantly attacked and accused of other things. in Blevins case, I was preemptively attacked before I even made my first post. which will always make me at least somewhat question his motive for doing so. in the end I may just write up all that I can remember which is in reality "non-fiction" and post it as a "fictional" account on one of my blogs and just be done with all this bickering and arguing entirely. the truth should be told, because there are important lessons to be learned from it, but perhaps it is best if I just post it on my own blog, and let a future generation dig into it after all these other agenda centric and promoted theories have failed. I wouldn't consider arguing with those claiming to be McCoy's relatives, as "shadowing" them. the discussion and/or arguments are on a facebook page for discussing and sharing info about DB Cooper. everyone there came there freely, none of them "shadowed" as far as I know. youre reaching a bit far into sciences youre not qualified for when you suggest theres a "syndrome" involved with knowing or being related to people, some of whom are in the public spotlight more than others. being born is just that, being born. a random chance encounter and/or friendship with someone who turns out to be famous at some point is just random chance as well, unless one or both persons make efforts to cross paths purposely, for example, pinup models and artists on facebook, or DB Cooper enthusiasts on DZ.com

Don't forget Barb Dayton. 377 I still am now as before willing to answer any questions I can about the case. since coming here other things have happened. caretakeral is known as "knoss" on facebook, this "al" I'm guessing is an employee in whatever assisted living location he is at. Knoss appears to be a decorated vet on his facebook, looks like he may have even received the congressional medal of honor. sadly, while his service was most likely of great value to this nation, he seems to show signs of dementia now. shortly after incurring his wrath by posting at all, my twitter account picked up some followers associated with a retirement community in Florida. one of my other accounts had many attempts to hack it as well. and yesterday I noticed some new entries on the wikipedia page for db cooper. one of which is plagiarized from something that I said in a private message here involving a murder suspect from an entirely different case, and it's being used to support this Gossett theory. I'll say this about Gossett, in some photos he does bear a striking resemblance to my father. too wide of a nose, and too much of a bragger to be DB Cooper. also it shouldn't require doctoring the actual FBI evidence (ie. the 2nd composite sketch) to support your pet DB Cooper as we have seen with the Gossett teory.
