How many of you are shooting in the raw format vs. large fine or large file ?

Sigma makes a damn good lens . I have every Canon lens made at my disposal at work but end up with a Sigma on the camera most of the time . I find in some cases that they are sharper than the Canon L glass and cost a lot less . I have compared shots with the camera body locked on the tripod and change from a Canon lens to a Sigma lens and I cant tell which is which . I will say that the Canon f1.8 200mm and the 1200mm can not be touched by anyone . Those are the two that will stay in my bag and the others may be changed to sigma or Tamron . Tamron has a few that are sharper than the Sigma .

Do youy know any actual write speeds for this camera? I know it depends a bit on which card you use, but I'm looking for a more general idea of it's write speed... I looked on the website and didn't find specifications on this. I have the E20n and it's too slow for skydiving... -drew I do not know what the specs are on write speed . Every time I wanred to take a shot it would say busy in the viewfinder and that is not what I want to see . There has been one or two times that I have got a busy from my 10d or 1ds , and the faster the card in them the faster I can shoot . Card speed had no effect in the 300d as it was slow even with a 45x card .

You do you find it compares with the Olympus E-20n? -drew I have never used an Olympus so I can't offer a fair opinion . I only use a Canon 10d a 1ds and a Mamiya 645afd with a leaf back .

It does not measure up to the 10d specs . I have tried this camera already and will not buy it . it's write speed is very slow and we had some problems with image quality . The 10d is better suited to skydiving and consider this camera a non option .

The gas line just failed the first test The fueling place I go to now has cops 24/7 until this is over .

I'm going to park another truck at malls and other high traffic places and leave the bait can in the back . Another friend is going with me and he will drive the other truck so we can video the bastards when their car dies . I can't wait to se the expression on their faces

After 1500 jumps and about forty baloon jumps . My first was a nice little cliff of about 500' .

I just got ripped . Someone sucked my tank of my truck dry while I was eating dinner . They ripped my locking gas cap off and did some major damage to that area . Also used a prybar to pry the chain and the two five gallon spares from the bed doing more damage . So I went to the auto parts store and bought 5-5 gallon cans . I then went to Safeway and bought 10 quarts of karo light syrup , 2 quarts per can will do the trick . I am going to the fueling station to fix the traps . Gas theifs beware I am going to leave a 5 in the bed at all times and I don't feel sorry for the person that feels the need to steal .

Bill , the sad thing is they have tried several times to make a law about price gouging and the oil companies make sure they buy it out of existence with political contributions . Fucking bastards

I know what you mean . I love watching the people behind my nova when they get a whiff of avgas . I also use a booster from kemco oil in utah to boost it up to 115 .

I run a couple of my cars on avgas but the engines are built to handle this fuel . If you are not careful you can do severe damage to your engine . I also have a account set up and I pay the road tax on this fuel . If you get caught they can get you for tax evasion .

I hope you are not falling for that line of bullshit because only 20% of the Phoenix supply comes from that line . This is just the oil companies way of fucling us in the ass . I will leave you with this thought , if we still have 80% of the supply , why are 90% of gas stationg out ? Answer , oil company greed .
