Canon gets my vote . I use a Eos 1V for for my 35mm film camera . If you want a cheap canon look at a Rebel G or even an Elan . Don't overlook the used market or e-bay . I bought a 1V on e-bay for less than a grand new in box . Thats 6-800 off retail .

I use transcend cards . I mostly use 256 and 512 cards because if you lose a card you dont lose as much as with a single 1 gig card . Transcend is going to have a 45x card out soon . I take out about 3-5 gig's worth depending on what am shooting . I shoot mostly in the raw format as it is much easier to process this way . For skydiving and base I use the second large setting down on the menu due to a more compressed file size and a faster write time . I have captured bursts of up to 12 frames like this . I have used and tested all the cf cards out there and transcend still has the edge over all athoers theat I have tried .

You can pick this lens up on e-bay for 628.00 from hotbuys . That is $250.00 less than everyone in Phoenix .

Go for the 14mm . I did a shit load of test shots with both and the 14mm was the better of the two . The model I got was the sigma 14mm f2.8 aspherical ex auto focus . BTW don't let a salesman tell you the tamron lens is just as good . Is it worth the extra $$ , HELL YEAH . For ground shots I use a 24-70 f2.8l canon and a 70-200 f2.8l canon . This should just about cover all your needs . If you can afford the 2.8 versions do it as it is well worth it . I also want to add that on the 14mm everything past 5 feet or so is infinity on the focus ring so if you are past the 5-10' mark in distance the shots will be good .

It is a dry heat . I did two base jumps off a 580' E with a few friends today and think I sweated off about five pounds . In a few weeks we will get the outrageous 50-60% humidity to go with the heat .

There is a palm tree in phoenix that is on the edge of a 375' drop off with a good flat landing area . The tree is about 70' tall and is 10 feet away from the cliff . It is a straight drop for about 200' . The only thing holding the tree jump back is the platform and how to get it out of the tree after we are done with it . We have already been off the cliff a few times .

I have been recieving a shitload of spam in the last two weeks . While on this site last night some asshole from Delaware tried to hack me and give me a virus . The same person spamed the shit out of my e-mails this morning . I sent them a nice little care package

The Sigma 15 is a kick ass lens . On a film camera there is distortion but on a digital there is none . I uploaded 3 photos taken inside a photo shop with the sigma 15mm . Light conditions were not that good in the store .

Anyone else got one of these yet ? This lens rocks . Optics are very clear and autofocus is lightning fast . There is no distortion at all and straight lines remain straight lines . I put this on my 10d and my 1ds both and it kicks ass . It is half the price of the Canon 15mm .

That one was put together for testing and now is in the repaint phase as my 10,000 $$ paint job is peeling off . Here is one of my other little toys . This one is a 9 second car with a 577/900 hp with a custom built glide and some steep gears in the 9" . It is a downright scary street car .

I own a few of them . I just got my 66 Nove finished a month ago . It has a double wide chromemoly frame with a 14 point cage . It has a 632 ci merlin motor with big chief heads and twin 1150 dominators on top of a wilson manifold . The clutch setup I wont talk about but I use a lenco 5 speed to get the pewor to the narrowed 9" with 5:11's and 17" wide meats . It has over 1325 hp without nitrous and will turn a mid 7 at this time .
