before I decided fat was effective wingloading and much easier to carry than weight belts, I looked into buying one. Look on ebay. When I was looking I found several in my area for dirt cheap.

Well even a near perfect weekend has to suck some how. 13 - skydives. 0 - try to get me to buy beer on a non boogie weekend.

All I have to say people, is that if you dont come to this boogie you will be missing out on what skydiving is all about. Great Jumps. Great People. Great Party. I was out at SD ATL (escaping a little hurricane action) and I had one of the best weekends this summer season. See you all there. D'Bo (P.S. Dont put me on the list. Lets keep it a surprise).

Why not use the RCA out, split that to the other inputs (a sony camcorder in VTR mode). It will not be an exact digital to digital/bit for bit copy, but the new copy will be digital of likely little quality loss. Derek

If you do buy a Dell use a coupon. Dell publishes daily coupons for there systems but they are vaguely advertised - basically you have to know they exsist. But plenty of websites list them. There is no catch but they are typically limited to a certain number of uses before they expire - so you have to be quick. Break down and buy a set of the $100 (retail) shure (E2C) ear buds. You can get them off amazon for $75. The stock ones suck. You all know about the 1-3rd generation battery replacement deal right? Apple just sent me the paperwork out of the blue. Must not find the damn receipt. Dbo

has anyone actually said what a daiper is? Its a circular peice of fabric, grommet in the middle with the bridle going through it, about a foot radius. Its ignored while packing, but after the canopy is in the tray you pull it down the bridle to the canopy and use it to cover up the canopy in the tray before closing. It helps protect the canopy. It also has a nifty effect of covering up the pilot chute post deplotment keeping it nicely stowed (and of course retracted).

IPOD: 1) You can have root access to the ipod drive through explorer, but sometimes it can be slightly tricky because apple does take some minimal approaches to hide it. A little know how and Im sure you wont have a problem. 2) yes and no. technically you could. But the music wouldnt be playable. You have to do it through an interface program. but there are several itune alteratives. I have tried several (PC) but in the end I just use itunes, cause damn its a well designed program. (Try it you dont have to have an ipod to use it.) When using the player you can access the sons through titles, artist, genre and you can build playlists. Like most people I have a fuckload of songs, so I just build playlists on itunes. I sort of wish they would put in a basic file search where you can scroll in letters and search... maybe in a later update. The ipod has no real proprietary file format. But itunes downloaded uses AAC file format. But if your just putting it on your ipod then its no biggy. I download (illegally) or burn from cd most of my music. I have never bought anything off itunes. Over all I love my ipod, despite it being grossly over priced. But my ex bought it for me... Damn whyd I let her get away? Dbo
