I really can't stand when someone tries to bash a dz before even going there. Right square in the middle of their homepage is a big banner that directs you to the boogie page and a link to pre-registration. Those prices don't seam high to me. Cesna to full alti more or less is the same price as full alti at my dz. Moab doesn't strike me as the kind of place you go to to make a billion full freefall time skydives. Shit... I can't wait for the boogie. Make a bunch of hop n pops in that gorgeous scenery. Wow!

Ha! Reminds me of our senior prank in private school. Took all the furniture from the headmasters office and arranged it on the campus island in the middle of the lake. Took all night and many beers, and we did end up getting in serious shit about it, but it was so freakin cool. Still makes me laugh till this day.

I will gladly trade lives with you for the weekend! Man, I need to plan another back packing trip! Have a great time. Sounds like so much fun!

Well my job is worse than solitary confinement. And tomorrow is my last day. I think I will celebrate a night early and go to work with a major hangover tomorrow.

I haven't ever seen any of those! I have got to break down and rent Phantom of the Opera one of these days... I never watched the movie. The show was amazing though. The music is the best.

I love Phantom. Really enjoyed Rent. Seen a lot more. If you count Blue Man Group (more performance), I thought that rocked.

I like to buy the boys ice cream when the ice cream truck shows up at the dz. Gotta look out for the packers, fellow vidiots, and drogue throwers.

Cool! I like this thread. Not that these fuck ups are cool, but that you can see that: A) People have made the same or similar mistakes, and B) You can learn from them and become a better/safer skydiver. What have I done? - Played chicken with the otter while landing. I was landing after a high pull and knew where every other canopy was. It was dusk, and for whatever reason, my circle of awareness sucked and I didn't notice the very large bird coming right at me. - Demoed a very small canopy before I was ready for it, and turned 180 low. Ha! How I survived that one, who know? But I did... and that woke me up real fast! - Got distracted while packing and packed myself a lineover that was totally preventable. - Took off on a load when the winds were high enough to blow over an outdoor packing tent. - Misrouted my chest strap just off student status and didn't realize till someone pointed it out as I was getting ready to exit the plane. So yeah..... don't be so hard on yourself. Just make SURE you learn from your mistakes and mistakes made by others.

Okay people......... STOP BEING SO DAMN BITTER! Okay, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
