hahahahha... it opened just fine. hey... Akos is a fine packer. I was only.... a little scared.

Yeah... Windows XP.... I know a shit load about design and software, but nothing about viruses and all that crap. Guess I've just been lucky over the years. Right now, my computer is running slow as mud. You can hear it working overtime. I honestly don't even know if downloading ad aware or whatever is even an option right now. I'm using another computer just to ask you guys for help. Yes, I know... I need to breathe. But this really stinks.

Someone has to know how to help me. Today my computer told me i had new updates ready to install.... thought that was pretty normal. So I freakin installed them, and I'm pretty sure it was a virus. Now my computer is all sorts of fucked. I went into my control panel to the add/remove programs place and there were like 10 things I didn't recognize. So I tried uninstalling a bunch of them. Thought that would take care of it, but there are still popups every time I open Internet Explorer and screwed up things are happening. Like certain words that aren't normally links will link me to ads and whatnot. I need help fixing this crap. All of my work that I do is on my computer. This is pretty much going to take the little business I have away until I can fix it. Any help would be really cool.

Nope. Wrecked it once. Hit a rock and bent it up pretty good. Then my bro got it stolen. Bastard. Fun bike. You'll dig it.

Jealousy... HA! Yes, next year you must.... you simply must.....

my name is bolas... and i'm a FREAK of NATURE!!!!!

Give me money, the rig, the packer, the altitude... I'll bring the energy. I've gotten 12 in a day before, and money was the only thing holding me back. I'd hit it hard and try for 20. Two rigs would make that much easier. My vote: more than 16.

Priceless. That's awsome.

Accelerated Freefall - a great training program to becoming a licensed skydiver. Check out http://uspa.org/ for more information. Tell your dad congrats. That's cool.

Be careful. A personal trainer is a good way to get yourself started safely. I used to work out every day for hours as well, and I had a personal trainer twice a week for over a year. (yes, i was addicted to the gym ... this was before skydiving ). Unless you have trained and weight lifted seriously before in your life, you should definately seek guidance for a bit, and a trainer is a great way to do that. Once every couple of weeks is fine. You don't need to continue this for long, just until you know how to workout safely and make the best of your time at the gym. Then you can just keep changing up your routine from there. Working out is awsome and very rewarding. Seeing a trainer can also help you to stay motivated for the first bit - the hard bit - until you get addicted and motivate yourself. Have fun!

What's the biggest speeding ticket you've ever gotten?
weegegirl replied to unformed's topic in The Bonfire
110 mph while tailgating in a 55 mph zone, 2 weeks after my 16th birthday. automatic court date. talked my way down to 78 mph with no tailgating, and got a ticket for under $100. Lucky. -
I love the assault video. "What are you doing? You're such a... crazy man!" Hahahhaha. Funny.

Hey Evelyn. Sounds like you've already made a decision to wear your open-faced while ffing. Good choice if you ask me. Personally, I can't stand freeflying with people who are wearing a fullface. It's next to impossible to communicate with them. My freefly buddies and I do a lot of lip reading and other crap while on dives. Also, being able to see someone's eyes is hugely important to me. I've had a freefly coach who wore a fullface and I got very little out of the dive. For whatever reason, it just builds walls and takes the flow out of things. Just my thoughts.

If it works, it works. Screw what everyone else says. My parents are 27 years apart. My Mom was 18 when she met my Dad who was 45 at the time. My Dad is about to turn 84 in April and they are still happily married.

please do. i'd love to follow your progress. you'll get there. you certainly have some great support out there. good luck!

Yes. So true. So many people sit there in missory, all the while missing out on so much living they could be doing. Take every opportunity. Don't miss that chance. Take risks. Challenge yourself. Jump off that bridge. Whatever you do... just do it. I feel so bad for people who sit around all their lives saving every penny they can and never going out and doing anything. Cuz in the end... you can't take it with you. All you can take is your memories and experiences.
-
but you wouldn't be wondering what you are missing outside because you wouldn't know what you are missing. Its a lot different than knowing what you had and now never having it again. What you don't know, doesn't hurt or help you... Just my philosopy on life. I'm an experience person vs. a materialistic person. You are right, what I don't know won't hurt me or help me. But what I do know WILL help me. I think people answering this question are looking at the negative side of what that glimpse of outside could do. You're worried you'd spend all your time sitting and missing what you once knew. Not me. I'd milk that memory for every bit of positive energy I could. To each their own, right?

Oh my God. Computers can be very very very decieving. I wish you both the best of luck. Oh, and thanks for taking him away for the weekend. Tecumseh could use a break. (I'm KIDDING McWaterbed, McBridgeday, Mr. Magoo... chill... breathe.... relax... enjoy.) Seriously... I hope you two have fun. McManatee is a great guy.
