  1. That has got to be the stupidest shit i've ever heard. I guess only premier members should be allowed in Bonfire, too. How about SC. Oh, and the classified, I guess you shouldn't be able to list unless your "Premier". Fuck all, should non-premier members be able to post at all? Maybe they should just have viewig privledges... that sounds good, yeah. I hope you're kidding. whoa... back away from the keyboard... put down the knife... and back away very very slowly. one thing you might notice is that sunny isn't even a premiere member herself. >>
  2. I call total bullshit to the two guys who said never!! If that is true... go see a doctor now!!

  5. HOLY SH*T!!!! I went to see this movie last night with some skyfriends. Okay... I thought it was an okay movie... not bad, not great. Very short! Less than 1 1/2 hours. But....... I had the most f*cked up dreams last night from it. WOW!!! Not really so much nightmares, just really weird weird weird dreams. Anyone else see this movie or experience this???
  6. I'm making brownies to bring to the dz tonight. And... mmmmmmmmmmm... they smell soooooo goooooooooood!!!!!
  7. Well, I just made an observation, not trying to be an asshole. Anyway, in my opinion, and from my experience witnessing several severe malfunctions due to non-freefly-friendly gear (velcro riser covers), NO velcro is safe for flying on you head. To answer your question, learning to carve... I'm not very qualified to answer that since I am still learning a lot myself... but learn to fly down the tube on your head, then learn simple movements like forward, backward, and side sliding motions. Then find yourself a good freefly coach and have them take you out and teach you to carve. Most people start out on their heads carving... then learn how to NOT carve... and then they have a tough time re-learning to carve the proper way. Carving is fun. Good luck. Be safe. And find a rig without velcro.
  8. pardon my observation... but i see you are flying a racer with 80 jumps and trying to carve on your back? please be careful.
  9. hey there! wish i had some tips for you, but seeing as it is 2am, my brain has gone to sleep for the night. and so am i. good luck with the basket cases!!!
  10. hahahha... i was just kidding. when i first started flying on my head i got teased a lot for my pizza hands. see... check out these pictures. (both taken from video so the quality sux)

  14. AHHHHH!!!! That's the shirt I'm wearing right now. Freaky! Hey boys and girls, if you like the shirt, I know where you can get your very own... !!!
  15. That's cool that you can remember and reflect. I think I only had about 40 or so jumps the first time I went out on a 4 way sitfly. It was more realistically me flailing around, holding it for a second here and there, while 3 of the better freeflyers at my dz flew circles around me. Yeah, it's fun to look back and see how far we've come in such a short time.... and then look ahead to see how far we have to go.
  16. Wow!!! She looks great for 51!! You are lucky!! !!!
  17. Those are some sick f*cks who did that!!! Poor lawnmower.
  18. Jump #145 you were open at 1900?? That's pretty low dude. What up with that? Anyway, I'd have to sit down for hours to calculate my freefall time since I don't have a neat computer doohickey for it. Last time I added up freefall time was about 300 jumps ago.

    Which one?

I was going to say caffeine, but come to think of it... internet. It would be wonderful to get rid of computers, but that would also leave me without work.
  20. Fair enough. But even as a freeflyer, I am confident with my belly skills. I try to get in a 4way dive here and there, I participated in the scrambles this year, and I coach on my belly all the time. I think freefly has madly increased my belly-to-earth skills. Freeflying is not just sitflying or headdown, it is learning to fly on all axises of your body at any fallrate. I'm not so sure that AFF Instructors necessarily need to be on 4way teams before they go for a rating. Just sounds a bit extreme. However, I see your point and I do plan on heading to the tunnel this winter to get a couple of hours of belly work in. Thanks everyone for the input. It has got me thinking quite a bit more realistically about what I need to do to accomplish this rating. Bottom line is, I love to teach, I have loved using my coach rating, and the idea of taking it one step further is exciting to me. I'm asking these questions to get a better idea of how to prepare for the course.
  21. Oooh.... now THERE'S an idea!!!! Mmmmmmm... sushi!!!
  22. Ywah, I'm pretty stinkin lazy sometimes too. I have to treat myself like a little kid and say... okay, if I do this task, I can go on dropzone.com and post for 15 minutes. (that's just retarded)
  23. Slappie, that's disturbing. Makes me want to puke.
