  3. I took my 4 year old nephew to see "The Incredibles" yesterday and I was sooooooooo impressed. What a totally awesome movie!!! And the little pre-movie thingy with the shaved sheep was PRICELESS!!!! I'm hoping I can talk Wrongway into seeing it again with me. And I will buy this one for sure!!!
  4. I've gone to Whole Foods for years now. It rocks!!! And want to know something SUPER cool!!! One of the top dogs at Whole Foods is a skydiver. A good one too. I met him at Skydive SoBe in Florida last winter. Super nice dude. Too bad I can't remember his name.

that thing was really annoying and i had to close all of my windows to get rid of it.
  7. Mmmmm... a good kiss..... soft, direct, passionate, fingers running through hair.... grrrrrrrrrrrrr... yum!
  8. Wow!! Cool!! Rod and Mark rock! Two very cool people. Both are still fairly active jumpers at Tecumseh. I'll tell them you said so.
  9. Boohiss!! I think you all need to head to Michigan for the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I don't own a Sabre II, but my only real skydiving injury was the result of a bitch slap from a sabre II. It opened so hard that it compressed my neck and spine and left me with severe whiplash. It was apparently packed by a packer working for the company I was demoing from. Not a big deal, more than likely a packer error, but it sure put me off of Sabre IIs. I still get pain in my neck quite often as a result. Oh, well. Part of the game.
  11. Dude!! I like my short bus suit!! So shut up or somethin!!! Geesh... some people!!
  12. Bwahahhahahahahahaha!!!! Now THAT is funny!!!!
  13. Awe, keep em both! Sounds like your lady is wonderful AND understanding of your jumping. This sport can suck you in, but sounds like you have the opportunity to have the best of both worlds. Don't give up something that good!!!
  14. Thanks! It really wasn't that bad. Honestly. I hit the landing area fine, and what would have been a normal stand up landing fumbled a bit when my foot slid on a wet slick rock and I rolled my ankle. I sort of fell forward to my hands and knees and then hopped right up about 1/2 a second later. I did have a pained look in my face because, shit, it kinda hurt. What do you expect honestly? Of course they threw in tons of extra drama - "Only one chance..." "8 seconds till IMPACT..." "blah blah blah..." My landing was only about a 3 second clip and in general it was a positive review. I don't think the media will ever change to a happy, safe image of our sport - whuffos wouldn't find it as interesting.
  15. I love my Gatorz. To answer your question... the best model is going to depend on the shape and size of your head. Try them on. You can custom bend the glasses to be your exact fit, but finding the best model is the first step. When I went to the World Freefall Convention this year, I tried a bunch on. They had a vendor booth set up. I don't jump in mine yet, but if I did, I think I'd get the converters. Many of the top freeflyers at my dz wear Gatorz to jump in. Not a problem at all if you ask me. Rarely do we communicate soley with our eyes. Hand signals and reading lips are more important if you ask me. ALSO... if you are worried about people seeing your eyes, get the lenses that are see through. A simple solution. Hope my 2 cents helps.
  16. Hahaha. Yeah, I was pretty geeked. Could you read my lips... I think I said "Awe.... fuuuuuuuuuuudge!!!!" with a few hops up and down.
  17. Ha. Yeah. Great. I'm the one on Fox landing and rolling my ankle on a rock. I didn't know that damn camera was there. My ankle is STILL sore. But at least I made tv... for the FIRST time!!!!! I thought that was pretty cool.
  18. Hey... if it's warm and we have a plane and a pilot, we jump. Dangit!
  19. My highschool prom date wore a kilt - he wore the whole getup. I thought it was cute. We made the front page of a few different newspapers. Mommy was proud.
  20. I'm in the market for something along the lines of a PC109 myself. I just checked that website because the price looked excellent. Note that it does not come with anything. You have to buy a battery charger, remote, nicer lense, etc etc etc. So by the time you are fully stocked with what you need, the price has just gone up by $200-$300. Guess it depends on yoru needs.
  21. So that article we both referred to is on the homepage here now.
  22. Hmmmm.... I'm not knowing. But if I find anything out I'll post it.
  23. Vig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's up, dude?? I just replied to your email. That should fill you in! For everybody else..... "PATIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" There is a lot in the works for Tecumseh... all really good stuff. Just be patient and we will have that website up as soon as humanly possible. For now, we are pretty much closed until April 1st. The website will be done LONG before that! ... And now back to your regulary scheduled programming.
  24. Okay, that IS pretty funny. But that's pretty damned evil that they would laugh at you when you are crying. That would have made me pretty mad.
