No worries. Do what Diablo said... bring shots of something. Or grab one of those pre-made veggie or shrimp plates from the grocery store. You could always bring a pre-made dessert or munchie food too. The only important thing is that you bring yourself!

I parked my car at the DZ and saw my best friend was already there. He was standing in the parking lot buck ass naked! I said, "Dude! Why the hell are you naked?". He was holding a large box of jello shots and a box of chicken. I said, "the shots will come in handy latter, but what fo' that chicken?" I'm going to make chicken swoop when I can get a can-o-pea. But with all that said, I still wondered why the HELL he was standing there naked. I was scared.

I haven't jumped since before Halloween. This, I think, is the longest I've gone since I started skydiving... or close to it. I need an altitude adjustment.

So, tomorrow night is the wild n crazy Skydive Tecumseh Holiday Potluck!! I'm gonna make a big ol' dish of baked ziti. I just got word that someone is trying to out do me by bringing wings from WB2s or whatever that place is. Brat! What's YOUR favorite dish to bring to a potluck???

Actually, you CANNOT send anything addressed to "any soldier" anymore. It won't go anywhere. It has to be addressed to a specific person, that's why these kinds of sites were set up. I tried to send a care package to "any soldier" and it was returned to me. Even if the address has a contact, like: SSG John Doe ATTN: Any Soldier HHC 1/503 INF etc etc I mean, if that's the case, I will just take out the "ATTN" part and the contact guy should know what to do with it.

I hear yah, but it's worth a shot. And you aren't just sending it to "Any Soldier". You are sending it to a contact over there that then distributes the packages. Who knows. But it'll only cost about 2 jumps and could make somebody's holiday. My vote: worth it.

Hm. We haven't been together for many gift giving sessions yet. But... Last Christmas we had just started dating so I cooked him a nice dinner and gave him a massage. For his birthday he got a gift certificate for a new jumpsuit. He gave me some freefly pants for Christmas last year. And he got me Gatorz for my birthday, and some other cute little gifts. I can't wait to give him his Christmas present this year. -
