actually, the motors we have now are 125 hp each. i'm thinking that the upgrades in sept will be 200 hp each. i've heard nothing but good things about the bragg tunnel and am looking forward to kicking around in there if given the opportunity. it's just not as accessible to most people as the one in orlando. with that said, i bet that is one bad ass tunnel in bragg. our tunnel doesn't exactly suck, though. i can't wait for the september upgrade. arlo

BWAHAHAHA!!! Next thing ya know, Jari will be making guest appearances at the dz! BWHAHAHAHA! hey zen...an aerie? would that be like an, oh, AVI-ARY? :) and foz is the bomb. we're lucky to have her in deland. she rocks. what UP lip! BTW, his arm isn't oozing today. i though you said he was INJURED! bah!

please, as much advice is given to you in this forum (with the best intentions), listen to your jumpmasters/instructors...not us. when you are free to jumpmaster yourself, then all this other information may come in handy. too much information from too many directions while you're still on AFF can be detrimental to your learning right now... go kick it's ass! arlo p.s. FWIW, i've had my share of total/low reserve pull dreams where i've hit the ground just at line stretch. I'd jump up, look around (to see if there was a witness), brush myself off thinking "Damn! I hope no one saw me do that... hey! i'm still alive! "

Skratch, i will most definitely pass your greeting along to Joe when i see him again this week. :) I'm sure he'll be happy to hear from you... and Sparky? Buddy you sure do know joe well to think he's doing 10-way. i think he's doing some freeflying as well as belly stuff nowadays. you have to love that man!!!! arlo

Actually, that isn't Robi. That's Kevin Schafer and Kim is behind Jari...you can see her arm. But is in indeed a great article! seems like birdman is the hot ticket nowadays. Maxim called wanting to show off the suit, CNN flew him up for an interview last saturday. what's next? oh yeah, chuckie b has him hostage in raeford this weekend! lol arlo

are you serious? edited to add: no really, are you serious?

i felt like i needed to post this since this is an incredible milestone for a skydiver to reach. This weekend was the 40th anniversary of Joe's first skydive...and he's still jumping his ass off. :) Joe had friends from all over the country (and then some) come to deland to help him celebrate. hell, alot of them also have 20 to 30+ yrs in the sport...ACTIVE years in the sport. it's amazing to see such longevity...they have my respect. they did 40-ways at Skydive Deland today to celebrate. there were even freeflyers on their bellies for this one.
-
grizz will be there in about 2-3 weeks, dave. :) how much are tickets to oregon? btw, joe morgan celebrated his 40th year in the sport today. they were doing 40 ways at the dz with Rusty's bbq afterwards. how cool is that? a

kev, if anything, it will take them longer to get the neptune out because they have to field 100 phone calls a day. Alti-2 doesn't have a huge manufacturing plant, either. it's only a few people....like birdman. i would bet that they are as frustrated as you are, but sometimes delays just happen. you'll still get yours probably before most of the skydiving community if your order was in early. don't sweat the small stuff. Lisa's right...let them hammer out the kinks. IMHO, it's better to have the delay now and ensure a better quality product than it would be to release a substandard product just to meet the deadline.... patience, grasshopper. arlo
