Made it to work.....I think it was all a bad memory or gas or something. Never happened. Nothing to see here people...move on...move on.

Dancing little Asians, bikers and I'm confused and lost in the desert and I should have been at work over an hour ago. My life is effed and all I got was a t-shirt.

Major feeling of impending doom right now.

A strong mind and libido...everything else works itself out from there.

For all my adult life I've been loading people up with debt and watch most people drown slowly in it...it's a shit job, but it pays well. Revolving debt will FUCK you. A good rule of thumb with cards (with the exception of emergencies) is to never charge more than you can pay off in full at the end of the month. Balancing between other cards, borrowing more than you can pay off at the end of the month, etc. etc. will end up costing you dearly over the long run. Understand the difference between wants and needs. Cards are a tool. They can be used to improve your credit score, like maxing the card out and then quickly paying back in full (shows that your "limit" does not exceed your "means") or carrying balances under 30% of the limit and making payments over several months (shows ability to make payments consistently and ability to use credit responsibly). Maxing out a card on things you "want" and then carrying the balance (zero interest or not) is retarded. Why do you think that zero interest for 12 months was offered? If you carry a balance that long you just put a big target on yourself and the lender is going to try to make you a...slave...for lack of a beter word. Exercise caution.

Shah is going to be on one of those match.com success story commercials...bald head gleaming...collar all crisp. Seriously, as someone with a "list" and an overly analytical approach, I think this route might work very well for you.

That really was a beautiful trap you set there. LMAO

One potential consideration is, how much will it cost per AFF jump repeated. It's only a minority that gets through the AFF jumps without a repeat. I had two repeats. Think it cost me just under an extra $500. More important than the money (to a degree): Visit both AZ's...what feel do you get from them? Ask around, which has a better reputation? Comfort level is important.

safe areas to stay along I-65; FL>IL?
ManagingPrime replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in The Bonfire
Find a "nicer" hotel. Park in the lot. Go to sleep for a few hours. A gun makes for a nice security blanket, but I think they frown on those in IL. Personally, I would be more concerned with trying to push it to hard and driving drowsey than with property crime along the way. Drive safe. -
Test video looks sweet. Can't wait to make my way over there.

+1 ....Kidding. I can respect that you are willing to accept the consequences of your own behavior even if those consequences are as dire as death...or even worse life long paralasis. With some time and experience you will be able to see how your actions affect others. While I have no problem with putting myself in sketchy spots I always try and give consideration to how others my be affected and I'm sure you give try to give others the same consideration. If something happened to you a world of shit would reign down on other people at the DZ (namely your AFFI).... So chill. Like someone said, the skies going to be there. In time if you want to start assuming more risk that's up to you, but hopefully you will have a little more experience and begin to see how things in skydive that seem to pose no risk to anyone other than you infact do pose risks to others. Have fun. Be safe.

+1 It kind of makes you "that person", but I say go for it. Kids that age love the tunnel and it's a really cool experience to talk about with their peers.

Patient: I have a problem doctor.I feel depressed and worthless. Doctor: You should cut down on your drinks. Patient: I don't drink and have never touched a drop in my life. Doctor: You should cut down on your smoking. Patient: I don't smoke either doctor. Doctor: You should cut down on womanizing. Patient: Good heavens!! Haven't touched a woman in my entire life. Doctor: Your problem is you have no problems!! Get yourself a drink, learn to smoke, and find a couple of girlfriends and you will be alright.

Can you do a gainer out of the otter? Tailgates are awesome. I like the little pocket of dead air and then getting blasted by the wind.

3 jumps.

When will we have jets again?
ManagingPrime replied to ManagingPrime's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I cant deny the practicality of the otter and carvan in jump operations. What I'm trying to figure out is how a jet can be fit in. IMHO a DC9 is overkill and there is just no way to incorporate it into day-to-day operations... Hence the current state of things. I don't know all the factors that teams take into consideration when training, but I would think that 5 to altitude and an otter size door would be a big draw to some of the more competitive teams that do a lot of training. Could they support the operation? No. But I'm thinking an operational jet would be a draw and raise the profile of the DZ. But, I digress. If it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense. -
Not going to debate that, but the American desire to kick back with a drink in hand tends to trump peoples desire to actually do anything about the root causes. Inequity is a bad thing until it means you personally have to give up something to improve the lot of others... that's life. Thanks, but no thanks. I've seen my fair share of snuff flicks.

The Ranch. Congrats on starting your AFF. Have fun and be safe.

+1 ...Oh, and personality too.

Life is pretty brutal everywhere on occassion. What's the point, there is a correlation between extreme acts of violence and poverty? Don't need to see someones head cut off to understand that.

PSA For all the "Kiss me, Im Irish" button-wearing wannabes out there.
ManagingPrime replied to labrys's topic in The Bonfire
That's cheeky. I find it both humorous and sad when other nationalities identify themselves as English, Irish, French, German, Etc., Etc. when in fact they are just future Americans in waiting. Have you ever watched the Jersey Shore? How proud would you be of your culture when it appears that its manifest destiny is to export asinine media to the rest of the world? Kiss me...I'm the asshole you've been waiting for. -
wingsuit landing without parachute project
ManagingPrime replied to profesorlino's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've thought of the ramp posibility. Has any thought been given to an AAD device that would measure glideslope and altitude...if not on angle by set altitude AAD fires? There is a ton of risk still awaiting the "pilot" even after passing that demarcation point, but I've kind of figured that such a device would mitigate some of the risk.
