  2. I did read the entire post. I'm glad you figured out your problem my friend. My addition to the post was to make it a clickable link and it wasn't meant to be directed as though you lack computer knowlegde, nor was it sent to you as a reply or I would have added your name to it. Think about it.
  3. Sound like a good reason to get your "wingsuit flyin' ass" down here (where it rains LESS) to do some flocking huh? Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  4. Check out the average precipitation here. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  5. It is! Ask him how much RAIN they get! Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  6. You should expect to take a short refresher course and then do a jump (or 2) with an AFF Instructor before you are cleared for solo's or have your card signed off. Anything less, I would question the safety of the DZ you are at. I hope you stay current after you get thet A license also!
  7. Thats an excellent idea Jason. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  8. I have flown every suit but the V1, and I can say the "Proof is in the Pilot". Though the mono wing suits generaly have a much different flying position then the 3 wing suits, it basically all depends on what style and "name" you like to say is the "BEST". What really is funny is the "followers", that are saying one brand of suit is better then the other, when they themselves "cut their teeth" on the suit they are now trying to now put down. Choose what is comfortable for YOU.
  9. I use a .3 Diamond for everything and it works great. Here are a couple video grabs taken from about 30 ft to 50ft away from the subjects. If you are going to use a .5 or bigger, I'd suggest a sight of some sort. I dont use a sight personally. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  10. I think you meant deed..... Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  11. I can tell you in my personal experience, that just being an Instructor for so long has kept me safe.
  12. You guys are like 'White on Rice" Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  13. Uncurrent is uncurrent, regardless of the experience the jumper has. The person that does 10-20+ jumps a week, and DOES NOT practice emergency procedures, can still be uncurrent. I have ask a very experienced and current freeflyer once to show me how they do their cutaway procedure, and twice he pulled his reserve handle before his cutaway handle, then I corrected his mistake. One should ALWAYS practice staying current with all aspects of the sport to remain safe. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  14. >>Yeah, but Bill gets annoyed with you if you don't go to the top floor every once and awhile! Hmmm, thats news to me. I have never seen him annoyed over someone jumping, regarless of the altitude they are going to, and I have been jumping there on and off for the last 13yrs. I have heard him many times say "It's only $15 to jump, but it's $25 to stand around and talk." Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  15. Whats alittle rain? PM sent Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  16. It doesn't really matter WHO said it does it? The statement is TRUE is it not? Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  17. $5 for a pass at 3 in Lodi Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  18. Would that be 1 cell added on each side, or both cells on the same side there Einstein? Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  19. Look at it this way, if you dont like the colors the first time, you can always change your mind during the 3 times you have to send the suit back to get it to fit right...... Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  20. The USPA ISP program I use is done as follows. 2 Instructor assisted tandems, after completing those successfully, I teach them the ground school and continue through the program with just myself as a mainside AFF Instructor, thus aliminating the need for a reserve side AFF-I. Not that would be STUPID wouldn't it? If your dropzone is a USPA group member, yes, they have to be a USPA rated AFF-I and hold a in date membership card to have a harness hold on your student. Wise choice IMO. Call USPA directly maybe? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  21. Nice! Have a great time where ever it is you go!
  22. Well it's $13 for a block of 50, or $15 if you buy them one by one. I dont thing there is any place else that you can jump an Otter at 13000ft for that price nowaday's..... Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
