Did you read what Hooknswoop wrote? 3) Time spent looking at a little compass is better spent looking for traffic and looking for a place to land. This worthless little compass may also lose the person thousands of dollars in hospital bills too. In all the years I have been jumping I have NEVER found a compass valueble on any skydive. Well I have only had 2 reserve rides on my sport rig, and the packer was the cause for both. The first one was a spinner as it came out of the D bag and inflated, causing major line twist and putting me flat out on my back. It was packed by a packer that admittedly said she was distracted during the packing and forgot to stow a toggle, thus spinning me up. The 2nd one was also caused by a packer, but it was me packing it. Truely too many people blame the packers for the malfuctions they have, but the simple answer to that, in my mind is, "pack for your damn self or deal with it!" Hmmm, we should wait until 2007 to hear your results then? Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Here we go again.... Do a seach on here in regards to everyones personal thoughts..... There is NO real hard data from the 2 different style suits being flown by the same pilot. Though Paul (speedformula) may have just about every suit on the market now? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Yes. Listen, do everything your Instructor tells you to do, relax, pull the handle at the correct altitude and land your parachute safely.

Thats awesome! I need to get one of those GPS things to see how damn fast I can go now! But did you ever consider your genetic advantage for going fast? Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

And how much money do you think the students jump costs would go up with if a DZ had to pay for these? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Some people like to leave the things they have taught for year, the same way. It's the way they run their DZ and probably will never change until someone else buys the DZ from them. Thats ok, because it's THEIR DZ. I on the other hand, find the new ISP is making my private student program easier to run with just myself and no other Instructors.

Shit!! How do I get the damn thing in the bag!?!?
bodypilot1 replied to Jeth's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Have someone, that KNOWS how to pack, watch you so you dont bevelope bad habits also. And most of all, don't give up, you'll get it. -
Get used to that itch, you only been in the sport a 1 year. And you don't live where it jumpable year round. Actually I was thinking of how cold it was in Muncie while I was in freefall today. Maybe I'll make 5 jumps tomorrow in your name too. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I'll make sure to leave the door open. Flock on. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

UPS or DHL is your best bet. Pay to have them box it so THEY are responsible for it, and make sure you insure the rig for more then it's worth. Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
