    When launching a 2 way with one out and one in, have the outside grab the inside bar with both hands, have the inside person grab the arm grippers of the outside person and make sure they are getting low in the doorway with thier back straight, and almost pushing on the outside person as they start the count. A slight leg swing "out, in out" will let them know when your going. As the outside person comes off the plane, focus on keeping your chest to the relative wind using your arms for stability. You probably hit your shoulder because you were too far back in the doorway. Hope this helps.
