  2. Hi Luke, were you there or is this speculation? thanks in advance, space pm is ok also.
  3. Non rotational exits: Exit and acheive and maintain the desired the plane for it . Or rotate into the plane. Controlling one´s rotation is the key. The knees give control. Boxman sux bigtime, has no place in tracking jumps if you are working for horizontal separation.. This is not my opinion, this is physics..contradict please. take care, space
  4. I don´t think that animals in the zoo have this type of behavior (I see that you are a zookeeper) take care, space
  5. Here´s one cause I don´t want to be left out of the fray. take care, space
  6. That hike gets me everytime. Dam-age
  7. 587 has some great points here. I prefer to use this method on all my terminal jumps because I can be in a track pos very fast, though I don´t use this method for recovery but to keep from going there (head down) in the first place. see attatched, I´m on the right. take care, space
  8. This person is a newbie has nothing said to indicate that he is a skydiver. Click on his handle and read his posts, in which forums he posts, and his knowledge about what he posts. Sorry VP If I dis you unfairly. but you aint measuring up. I call you on this. We can correct this via PM or here. I stand by my opinion. Take care, space
  9. VP, I should be sorry that I suspect you of not being one of us. Your profile says nada. Your posts says nada. Who are YOU? You know somethingabout cold hands and Colorado. Polarized in this forum is cool if you are a jumper. But I see no evidence of you being a skydiver. You spout propaganda like icecicles on a witch´s titty. Let us know who you are please so we can take your views seriously. meanwhile, take care, space
  10. Search and you will see. Google him also.
  11. I hope that I'm wrong but the sims are there. Anybody else notice this? Sorry VP if I am mistaken. take care, space

    wingsuit!!

Ummm..Do you mean first wingsuit BASE jump? Or first wingsuit jump ever? take care, space
  13. www.frwd.com, Though I offered them a way to track aerials, They dissed it. My firm works with positioning and are quite accurate with the technology. Check out these guys. Though they are shortsighted, they could maybe help or steal your idea. take care, space
  14. Thanks all for the great replies! I respect if someone doesn't want to do a LRM unless they blame it on the possibility of misrigging it. FCS! That is such a simple concept. I speak directly to you non answerer's. I agree somewhat that it sux that I was tweakin on probaly the best bier in the world (Augustiner Lagerbier Hell, Munich's oldest brewer, 1328ad) for me to bring up this point. It is total CRAP that people bypass safety because of admittance of ignorance of simple rigging. Hell, convenience is more respectable. take note that out of 8 repliers, over 3750 BASE jumps accumulated of experience is speaking to the BASE World validating my rant. Thanks! take care, space
  15. I, Space, Have ratted out my BASE Bro's to the Authorities. I had no choice, Their copter was buzzing around the LZ approach and using our LZ at the TW of Italy. The pilot of the carabinari (sp) buzzed them on the ridge 30m away, The Polizia thanked me. Don't try this at USA home. Probs arrive when the jumpers (70%?)have cameras doing illegal stuff. Back before the turn of the century, I did a jump , escaped the rangers in Yosemite and my friends got busted and held true to the code. Aint so easy with vid and stills to not tell. think, take care, space
  16. See, Toldya! It was my first span in '89, Also some well publicized train jumps were made there from some of the cornerstones of the BASE. There could be a cliff there if you have a boat... take care, space
  17. Been there, done that, actually the one that´s further upstream. Lots of federals around there looking for smugglers. Not many ways out. Have fun, take care, space
  18. Yep, Ya got me, Exactly as I wrote it. Ummm... Which Part of "Strategic Misrepresentation strategy of the current admin" do you not understand? Dang, Shall I write it in English next time so you don't muss up the translation? Typical that you read whatever you want into posts. Typical I tellsya!! take care, space
  19. "Strategic Misrepresentation strategy of the current admin" The strategy is stated as being of the current admin. Duh! It's Dubya's Admin not Clinton or Nixon. And its a good one. take care, space, PS, "admin" means administration, not Idi Amin.
  20. The Nixon Administration had its skeletons as all do. BUT he did try to bring the POWs back home but his efforts were curtailed by congress. Read “Kiss The Boys Goodbye” and you might find that Richard had great intentions. USA publishers would not touch this book so it’s a Canadian print. I hold his efforts in high regard. Take care, space
  21. So how much money do you think he will make off his book? It all about the Benjamins. space
  22. My rant is directly aimed at scaredy cats of rigging. Hi Kev! You should come visit me so I can call you a scairdycat to your face (does anyone know how to spel "scairdycat"?). 1000ft jump, could do a 9r but gotta do less so I have time to compensate for a real likelihood of my brake ( not “break”) lines releasing prematurely cause I don’t know how to stow them. So a 6r is in order but since I don’t know how to attach my PC symmetrically and am likely to have linetwists and need time to kickout, avoid the object and still make the LZ I have to cut another 3secs. So now I’m down to a 3r which is not good for slider up so I must do the dreaded transition. I won’t do LRM because I don’t know how to stow that way and I have a tailgate but maybe I could still have a lineover so I could just knock off another 3secs which puts me back on the exit point at the same time I left so maybe I should just do a PCA because I am a conservative jumper who has no clue about rigging……Hello? Take care, space
  23. Iffin ya don't trust your stowage, then maybe take up another sport? Iffin you don't know how to do a continuity check after a transition pack, should you take up another sport? " I have concerns that maybe I disstow my brakes" or "If screw up the the continuity...." Am I wrong to suggest to take another sport? Whats up with you scaredy cats of rigging your gear? I await your logical reply. Scared that you may misrout a line? That means that you have absolutely NO CLUE! Whazzup? am I outta line or you? Edit to add that I nailed ya and no one who is in this no where place will respond. take care, space
  24. I think it was one of those, or maybe in Early 90´s it was. I built a retraction system before that could be used for it. similar to the "Pursuit" CRW canopy. no bigee to build, I just didn´t want to complicate things even more when some don´t use the line mod because they don´t trust their ability to securely set the brakes or route the steering lines correctly. take care, space
