I don't wear any scent, though guys are always telling me "Mmmmmm, you smell SOOOO good!" so the Eau de Dove thing is working for me. And I have to say that I am most turned on by a man's natural scent. I don't mind if he wears something every once in a while when going out - but I'd rather smell HIM than smell his cologne. If I snag a t-shirt from his place it is cause I am addicted to his natural aroma! Yummmmmm!!!!! dove

Michele, I am most definitely the praying type. I already was and am more so now after my own surgery. I had so many people pray for me and they all prayed extra hard at 11am on February 11 - when I was having surgery. My surgery went so well my doctor was surprised. I was supposed to get a bucket of screws and a plate and partial to full miniscectomy. I only got 2 screws and a bone graft and they left ALL of my miniscus. So I will pray for you. A lot. And you should let us know when your surgery is scheduled so we can all go double time then. I know you must be scared, but you are also so lucky that your doctor caught it. If he had to check it so many times it must be a small thing. We are also lucky to live in a time where all these things are available to us. If it wasn't for medical advances like arthroscopic surgery and bone grafts I'd have a limp for life at the very least. Hang in there, think positive. In your dark house you can dream of skydiving and do positive visualization. You may think I'm a nut but I truly believe when I return to the sky I am gonna throw everyone for a loop. I really believe I will be a better body pilot with all the skydiving I've been doing in my head. So you are not out of skydiving for 4-6 weeks - only the sky. And maybe we'll be ready to return at about the same time. I'm thinking of you and praying for you and I know you are gonna plow through this obstacle like you have so many times before. Love, dove

Nope. Not a student. But the guy who took me out hadn't jumped in 3 weeks or worn his camera in a longer time and was apparently not the adept freeflier I had been told he was. I was in a solid headdown (on tape) and you can see the sky slidding left, left, left, start of a transition and then one frame of me facing my other buddy in a solid headdown. Then me on my back with no helmet, head rolling around. I had no clue what happened until they told me later. Sucked! I was having fun too!

Well - I'm alive, right? I did have a few minor scrapes (2 broken ribs, almost bit my tongue completely off, nerve damage in my arm, trauma to stomach, diaphragm and intestines) but other than that..... :)

No nosey at all! I wish I could post it. It is a learning tool. It used to freak me out to watch it cause seeing yourself unconscious on your back in freefall is a little unnerving. But at least it has a happy ending (and opening!) dove

Happened at Delmarva. Are you kidding? The freefliers at Orange would never have let that happen! Not that it was anyone's fault but ours... but Delmarva is a belly flyin dz. So I mostly flew solo or with one other guy (Tony - you probably see him at Orange now) I had never flown with this other guy but was told he was very good. I should have insisted on a sol with him but went along with the 3-way. Some lessons you learn the hard way! dove

The tongue is better than ever and has a super-sensual ridge as a result. Really want me to stop skydiving now? And for the record - the first accident was someone else crashing into me (my lesson was don't jump with unknowns!... I have video to prove it!) and the last one was a decent landing if I hadn't locked my knee. Crap - if I broke every bone in my body I'd keep coming back to this sport.
