Not sure I get your drift?? I'm exploring the differences between british english and american english and I'm finding a lot of nuances. Like ending emails with x's and o's. I see your posts end with x's in your sig line. I know x's and o's mean hugs and kisses - just didn't know how common it was for emails in the UK to end with those. I hardly ever get an email that orginates in the US that ends with x's and o's.... In the UK we call this a WAAAAAAH It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I'm an SE working for a Microsoft reseller and it pains me, but I agree. Vista is kind of like having a 4y/o kid questioning anything you do, every time you do it. FWIW The Gadget Show on UK Chanel4 had a head to head between a Sony Vaio and MacBook last night and suprise suprise the Mac won hands down. Suzy Perry (hottie) one of the presenters was apretty much converted to the Mac. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

We had Chico on Pop Idol in the Uk, who despite being total shite managed to get a fair way through the show. No matter how hard you try I would be very suprised if someone that bad actually won. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. -
He obviously knows his stuff, but I have to agree with you the UK Chanel 4 show "Bear Grylls Born Survivor" is very contrived, and as such lack credibility with me. The first time I saw the show, I actually rang up friend of mine who was the tech advisor for the Mumm Champagne stunt, supplied him with the RNRM canopies used in BS and is a close friend of Bear's to see if it was supposed to be so laughable. Harry Hill ripped into him on "TV Burp" on Sat night and it was hillarious. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Plenty of DZ's within 90 min of London, but due to the nature of UK DZ's they arent that accesible by public transport. Look here to see them. I am more than happy to offer you a lift from Heathrow to Netheravon, my local DZ about an hour or so from London . £38k is a very good salary for the UK, however London is the most expensive place to live. You wont find much more than a room in a house or bedsit for much less than £500 pcm. Your best bet may be to live outside London and commute, I live in Swindon and commute to Heathrow daily. It costs me £300 a month in fuel but I save more than that in accomodation costs. Like any major city London has its moments, I personally think it is full of rude fuckers, but then again I am such an aimiable chap.

I brough a bottle of Silver and Anjeo Patron back from Perris in 2005, gotta say its amazing stuff. Unfortunately my reserves are depleted and I cant find it anywhere in the UK. from London you have a choice of a number of quality DZ's Sibson, Langar, Hinton, Weston on The Green are all within 1 1/2 hours north of the smoke. Headcorn is about and hour to the East. Netheravon is about an hour to the west. Netheravon would be my call, but then it is my local DZ. There is a fairly good FF scene and we have a number of the UK swoop team jump mhere so there is always plenty of swoop action to be had. OOI there is also the London Skydivers drinks you ma want to get involved with, they happen the last thursday of every month at the Montague Pike in Charing Cross. There is always something posted on DZ.com to remind people (next thurs 29th is the next one) and it will allow you to meet up with a good xsection of UK jumpers as we all inhabit different DZ's It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I wear Gatorz for all m,y jumping, and as yet have not had a problem with them. I chose Gatorz over other types as they were the only ones that fit my face and gave an "wind proof" seal. I also wear contacts and have as yet not had a problem with them and the shades. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Then lived in Grantham Lincs, birth place of some political chick and a scientist ( Margaret Thatcher and Sir Isaac Newton), and it was once voted the most boring place in the UK. Now live in Swindon Wilts, birth place of a couple of minor celebs, one who is a MAJOR MILF and the other Dr Who's last assistant and some bridge building bloke. Its a piece of piss to upgrade the RAM in a MacBook Pro. Its a little harder to upgrade the HDD but I managed to put a 120 Gb in mine in about 20 minutes, and that was going real slow. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
