    I have watch this thread for some time now. At first I found it to be entertaining and somewhat informative. For the last couple months however I find it has been nothing more then rehashing the same old stuff, and has lost any entertainment or informative value. Not directed at you Jo, but to almost the entire population of this thread, has any one actuall got somehing NEW to say, or does anyone actually feel they are getting any closer to what ever it is they think they are going to get from this exercise?     Here in NZ they'll take you as long as the harness fits. No age limits it seems. Having said that, my ex wife (former student of mine in the 80s) will not let our daughter jump till she turns 18 this month. Guess what she's getting from me for her birthday.

    We had a female student at Toogoolawah back in the 80's who continued to free fall till we all thought she was dead. Finally something came out, I don't recall if it was main or reserve, and she basically got line stretch and a hard landing all at the same time, badly spraining her ankle. When asked "why?" she said she keep looking at her altimeter and it kept saying the same altitude so she kept going untill she got scared by the ground rush?!?!?!?!?!?!? We checked that alti several times and it never got stuck on any of us. We also found out after the fact that she was taking some sort of medication for , I think it was epilepsy, but I,m not sure.     I think your refering to a two way that was part of a team called the Fat cats. Postumusly dubbed the frap cats. The story as I heard it was they were at a meet, may have been nationals, and went in linked. The "legend" continues that someone passing their home town after words crossed off the population on the towns sign and reduced it by two.
