ROFL Slim! My ex-husband use to do that too...I guess it just wasn't as funny for him anymore when I left him Nah, I didn't mind it...it was funny

It's so funny how no one thinks they have an accent, everyone else does :) I love hearing others' accents, especially from other countries. I still am getting used to the lingo in the 'south' (which I totally don't get since we moved almost straight across form OK, so why is NC the 'south'??). I get such a hard time for saying "pop" and "sack", not knowing what Nabs are and thinking a taboggan is a type of sled. Pammi

I just had to share that I went to the most unusual baby shower last night. If this is how you guys do it in the south, I'm definately staying! Wine, beer and vodka was free-flowing, an amazing lasagna dinner and I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Thank heavens for non-traditional women! I thought this thing was gonna be a terrible bore! Pammi

Hey now :) Actually, I don't care .... I only lived there two years I say take what's going to save you money. You have plenty of time to move out and be 'free'. Paying back college loans suck..ask Merrick. I did the whole 'in a hurry to grow up and have my freedom' business. Looking back..suck off your parents as long as they let ya! hehe

EEEWWW! Now, makes ya think...a pube on your sandwich..now how would THAT happen? What kind of sauce did you ask for on it?? Pammi

Just wanted to pass on the update about Le Roy's eye surgery since he's having a time of it still trying to type and read. A bit too much strain right now I think. Here's something he asked me to pass on tho: had surgery on monday... in pain tryign to type and read ....was in a ball on mon night tue and wed... todday is first day i can stamd tp keep eyes open.... things a re still blurryy... can youpass this ijnfo to talkback for me? thansk you are the best... Le Roy I'm not sure about the being in the ball part...sounds fun perhaps It's good to hear all went well. Surgery on the eyes has got to be at least a little freaky!! Pammi

So sorry to hear that. It hits home, certainly! Merrick isn't working in the IT field anymore, at least not now, and unfortunately we're afraid the longer he's out the harder it'll be to get back in when it does eventually pick back up. But he's doing other stuff which he's enjoying, it just pays a lot less. The only regret is that he didn't go find a 'normal' job sooner before our savings dwindled out, but whatever, now we know. It WILL get better. Keep your head up and all that crap they tell you when this stuff goes on. It's cliche and not what's going to help, but try. And try to do something nice for yourself and your family now and then. You can find some really cheap fun just about anywhere, even if it's just getting out in the sun away from job hunting behind the computer for a little while. Don't beat yourself up either. It's a tough nasty time all over right now. Shit happens, you WILL get through it. Gawd, that's a whole lot of yacking that won't help, but I really feel for ya. Good luck to you! PM me if you just need to let off steam..I became really good at listening and supporting the last year or so :) Pammi

Of course we'll be there! I can't wait to see my sweetie Kris!
-
Yeah, Merrick stole my idea and tried to get AIRGASM here, but we got a letter in the mail not long after saying basically that it might be offensive so 'here's your money back'. *shrug* Pammi

ROFL 2fat! Those are good! Love that sig line too Pammi
-
Ah crap. He'll be home. He just had to go show the girlies his scar. Scars are cool :)

No Deuce and Dave...the question is...do you have underwear on? Real cowboys jeans are nice and tight and are sans underwear! Pammi

You must be like me...a font of useless information. I could care less about things that I probably should care about, but I look up all kinds of weird things like this just out of curiosity I know how lobsters mate if you need that information Pammi

I've been okay with the stuff I bought so far, but I always check others' reviews of the person before I bid. Too many or what kind of negatives he/she got makes me decide whether to buy from them or not. Hopefully they are just slow Pammi

Definately cuties! Not as cute as mine, but adorable anyway I'll point em out to my boy when they all get a little older! Pammi

Hey, sorry, wish I could help. I actually was thinking of having something like that made, with three rings, but with stainless steel (the best option it seemed to look good and last) it was more pricey then most people wanted to pay. Here is a link that might help you though. I've heard this works (the aluminum foil bit) or you can try the stuff they sale about everywhere from Walmart to jewelry stores for cleaning silver as well. Pammi
-
Us as well. We've bought two rigs online and sold two. *shrug*
-
Hmm..thanks for the heads-up. I'm selling my rig too and haven't received an email like that yet (and probably would've been highly suspicious if I did anyway) but good to know this is going on and what I should do. Pam
-
Thanks! I've been looking for the same thing!

Here's my little Monkito Pammi
-
Thanks! Still seems kinda weird, but hopefully just a coincidence as they said.

Good thoughts guys. I like how you put it especially Mike. I agree Daizey, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If I were the dad standing there and overheard, my feelings might have been hurt a little, but common-sense would tell me that it was more about the attention she was getting at that time then anything. Parents don't get to be just players, but have to set the rules and be disciplinarians as well. Of course she would prefer someone who doesn't tell her 'no'.
