The recommendations for my Mirage is for a main no bigger than a 190.I'm still reeeeeeally new to the sport and have alot of work to do on my skills and learning anyway,so my wing loading under a 190 should be a really good start for me.

Yep. New custom Mirage,PD reserve and new cypres...all uninstalled and no main.Looks like it'll be that way awhile b/c I'm extremely broke.(just found out I have to replace the regulator thingy in my fuel tank b/c my gas gauge is going crazy..not reading correctly.Gonna cost me over $300 and thats if I'm lucky to find a mechanic and parts that cheap w/o going to a dealer.) At this point I'm just tickled pink to have my rig in my possession and know its alllll mine!When the new wears off and I get tired of sleeping with it I'll start getting crazy about jumping it. Have you tried calling them? Maybe whoever you emailed is at PIA.I had a good response via phone.

Well,I had no problem at all and they were great!The two women I talked to were very helpful and within 5 minute of my call they called back with all the tracking and delivery info.IMHO the staff at Mirage did an excellent job and I as a customer couldnt have asked for better service.Kudos to Mirage!

I'm thinking I want to demo a Spectre190 and a Sabre2 190. It'll be awhile because I'm broke and will have to wait until I have the $ to get current and have my reserve and cypres assembled. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Ok..UPDATE! I called Mirage back today and told them the situation.(I've gotta tell ya they were awsome! Connie and Becky, thank you sooooo much!) They got right on the situation,called Fed Ex and sent me all the tracking information,delivery info and an actual picture of the signature of whomever signed for my rig at the DZ.I have every stoping location,date and time of my rigs trip to Dallas. Apparently,from all the info my rig has been sitting at Skydive Dallas since Jan20th!!! It was shipped on the 17th just as Mirage told me yesterday.Friday morning I'm headed to Skydive Dallas with beer and I'll be coming home with my new baby!I'll be sure to take lots of pics. Ok so I've been trying to wait patiently like a good little girl for my new Mirage. I emailed my gear dealer 2 weeks ago and he said he talked to Mirage;the estimated shipping date would be 1-27-03. Ok cool,I can wait that long w/o going postal. So I'm all hyped knowing my rig should have been shipped yesterday and hopefully would be at the DZ this weekend. Well I called Mirage to confirm that my baby was shipped yesterday,only to have them tell me that their computer records show it to have actually been shipped 1-17-03. WTF?! thats 11 days ago.Surely if it was shipped on the 17th it would be at the DZ by now. The dealer promised he'd call me ASAP when it was delivered.He hadnt called. So I call the DZ to see if anyone knows anything about it or has seen my baby around there somewhere. They tell me the dealer is in FL at PIA and that they havent seen anything come in since he left.They tell me that they'll find out something or have him call me.This is turning into one big cluster f**ck.So here I sit waiting to find out what in hell is going on.Where in the hell is my rig?!?! I bought my reserve, Mirage and Cypres but decided to hold off on a main til I could demo a few.I'm going to play with the Sabre2s that the DZ has and might talk to J. and see if he'll get me a Spectre to demo.
