Well,they dont have jello shots or test tube shots to play with, but atleast this is a co-ed dorm so theres plenty of scenery. I've been in your situation too. I started as a psychology major and then realized you had to have mucho school time to really do anything with a psych degree.I ended up dropping out for a full academic year,ruining my GPA in the process. I finally came back and changed my major to Criminal Justice.So after 1 1/2-2 yrs in this major, here I am sitting in the dorms of a university ranked 3rd in the nation for CJ majors. I'm feeling kinda old in a dorm full of 17-20yr olds even though I'm only 22.As hard as it may be, I'm actually looking into another 3yrs of school so I can double major in CJ and Psych. It just takes time to really look at what you want to do with your life.If all else fails, just take a few classes you think you'd enjoy learning.Who knows? that might lead you to the right field/major for you.It worked for me.

Ok. I'm officially posting live from my new dorm (although I think "cell" would be a more appropriate term for it). I'm still living out of boxes but for the most part I'm moved in.Now I just have to keep myself occupied until Wed when classes start. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Ok, so tomorrow I'm finally making the 120mile trek to start moving into the new college. My stuff is everywhere. I can't seem to remember everything I need to pack, and I feel like I'm quickly losing my mind!Why is this such a big deal? I've been in college for 2 years, albeit a community college less than half the size of my new college. Ofcourse I'll also be living on campus in the dorms, which is new to me aswell. Dammit, I'm stalling. I need to be packing or sleeping or doing other things none of which include postwhoring. I guess I'm a bit nervous. I dont know why considering I'm the "old maid" at age 22 in my suite with 3 other girls between ages 18-20. In less than 12 hours I'll be moving alone to a school and city miles away from everyone I know.eek! Anyone have any valium and willing to share w/a stressed Moody? please? ofcourse! we have to keep the family line going. YES! I am! finally! The wonderful experience in Rantoul has finally given me back the confidence/courage I needed to get back in the air after almost 2 years on the ground. I really want to get current/licensed and hope to do so after I settle in at my new college (time and money permitting).

Yes, I was treated very nicely. I just wasn't drunk enough Sat night to get topless and they respected that. So big thanks to wingnut for being gentle with me, his new RB brat.Thanks to everyone else too who were also good sports about me keeping things low key. Yeah I've been there. I take my own notes though. But this Saturday I'm moving from a community college to a much bigger university 120miles away.eek! Atleast I'm in the co-ed dorms so that should help me adjust more quickly to dorm/campus life. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
