Thats exactly what I'm doing and Res Life doesnt like it.When I got my housing termination request forms in order they got real shitty b/c they dont want to lose a yr's worth of my $$. So they started scrutinizing my reasons for leaving.I was almost in tears when I left the Res Life Dept b/c they had been so horrible (and I've already had a bad week).Now theres a formal inquiry involving a questionnaire to my Dr and a second opinion from a doc on the school's payroll aparently. Honestly,I dont give a shit right now.I dont need this drama BS right now w/everything else I have going on.I'm moving into my new apt on Friday with or w/o their consent.If they dont like it they can talk to my doc and my lawyer. Yep.I'm spoiled.Lets talk about me. Well folks, I'm still here. I've been a bit quite,but I'm here.Thanks to those friends who have kept me going lately through these very rough times.I wouldn't havent made it without y'all. For those of you who dont know, I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.I was finally able to get treatment because the quality of my life continued to diminish to the point where I could not function on a normal level without difficulty.Unfortunately I am no longer able to skydive for the time being due to the adverse side effects of the medications I'm taking.It might be temporary or it might not.I just got current this month after a 2 year layoff and now I cant jump again.Things are bad right now.I hope they will get better.Maybe one day... It was upsetting being at a boogie surrouded by wonderful people but knowing I couldnt jump.I appreciate everyone who offered kind words and made my friend feel so wonderful on her tandem. School has suffered from this as well.I hope that will get better too.I wont quit.I'm in a huge battle with Residence Life to get out of my housing contract.Just this morning I put a deposit and first month's rent on my first cute little apartment.Its a small step,but also a big one for me and its all mine. Now I'm going to go drag my tired butt to my honor society meeting and hope my grades can survive this semester long enough to remain a member in good standing. Yup the same thing happens to me. I'll go long periods of time with nothing going on and them all of a sudden everything ends up scheduled for the same time. Prime example: the weekend of Sept 24-26. I have class on Friday (24) then I have to drive 2hours home for some family stuff,then another hour to a Dr.'s apt. Then drive back home and another 2 hours to Aggieland for the AOT Boogie. Sat (25) party and hopefully jump at the boogie.Drive home. Sun (26) go to our annual family reunion and then drive 2hours back to school and do homework and laundry. Its not quiet as hectic as your plans, but atleast I'm going to try and make it to everything thats planned for that weekend. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

I got a letter over the weekend from the local chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, formally inviting me to be a propsective member because they're records show I more than satisfy their membership requirements.I'm supposed to go to the informational meeting tomorrow. I didn't believe them.I actually emailed the VP of the chapter to be sure they had their info right.He replied that everything was in order and that I'd be a "great asset as a member".
