The most I did in a day as a student was 5, but those were coach jumps. I would say if you arrive at a decent time, you could comfortably do 3 jumps. This shit, right here, is OK

0:7:4 So much beer! First jumps on my own rig, first night jumps, more beer on the first night jump because I landed across the taxi-way, and first time landing off. This shit, right here, is OK

Don't forget that there is an anti-fog coating on the lens. Anything used to clean off the scratches might ruin that. This shit, right here, is OK

If you're 225 w/o gear, you are at more than 1:1 on a 230. Probably closer to 1.1:1 This shit, right here, is OK

I have a Factory Diver and love it. Audible pocket is for the left ear. Visibility in the downward direction is minimally impaired, and does not obstruct the view of your handles. In terms of seeing an altimeter that is mounted on your mudflap, that I'm not sure about. I jumped a Z1 last year a little bit and did not like it as much. The closing system on it was no where near as easy as the Factory Diver/Oxygn system. This shit, right here, is OK

I got a Factory Diver over the off season and wore it on my first jump. It was my recurrency jump and first time jumping at that dropzone. As soon as i opened up the the entire lens fogged over. That was quite an interesting canopy flight trying to spot the new landing area from a fogged up helmet. I didn't dare to take it off and drop my brand new helmet. What I noticed helps a lot is to breathe in through your nose, and direct all of your exhale through the mouth hole. I haven't had a problem with it since that first jump. I asked around at the DZ and from what I hear, full faces will tend to do that on colder days. This shit, right here, is OK

how about you take a canopy course instead This shit, right here, is OK

Watch thousands of Youtube videos about skydiving and read on here (take it all with a grain of salt). I haven't jumped in 6 months but I've made it! This shit, right here, is OK

I know when I was under canopy I was NOT expecting anything from my instructors via radio. I was told they would ask me to kick my legs if I could hear them, and other than that I would hear nothing unless I was screwing up. That was great. If I wasn't hearing anything I knew my pattern was good. If I screwed up I would hear something and know I needed to follow it. This shit, right here, is OK

Coach Rating beneficial for someone not ready to coach

I'll be taking the canopy course on the 22nd. I'll probably see you at the DZ This shit, right here, is OK -
20g whey protein an hour before the workout, 40g whey protein and 40g of carbs within 30 mins after the workout. Some casein protein right before bed couldn't hurt either. Don't forget the creatine! This shit, right here, is OK

If I'm going to get assed if I go over there, I'll just stay here This shit, right here, is OK

you think he meets the weight requirement to do a tandem? This shit, right here, is OK

I wouldn't exactly call 5'10 "tall". But regardless, I say skip the first airplane flight, and go straight to the skydive. Then you'll be able to tell all of your friends that you've flown in a plane, just never landed in one This shit, right here, is OK

BAD SELLER FROM ITALY - Ferdinando Villano, Be CAREFUL !!!

I agree. I have made one purchase from the classifieds and it was from likestojump. Quick responses and my pro-track was exactly like it was advertised. I had it in like 3 days. This shit, right here, is OK -
Captain and coke while I do some work for an hour or two, and then it's Miller Time! This shit, right here, is OK

I only had a radio for my first 4 jumps. My second jump the radio didn't even work, but I had been taught how to fly it on my own and didn't even care that I wasn't hearing radio chatter. Now for some students I think it might be necessary. I know of one girl at the DZ who landed in trees. Her view was that since she felt air hitting her face, then she must be flying into the wind! I doubt she'll be jumping again This shit, right here, is OK

Malfunction/Cutaway & Ground Crash Video
burtonjm replied to ridestrong's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Go do 100 hop and pops. Then your jumps numbers will be up there! But seriously, I am no where near starting to fly camera. Sure part of me wants to so I can show the video to my wuffo friends, but staying alive and not endangering others is more important to me at this point. This shit, right here, is OK -
I wish I could crank out 2650 words that quickly...would have made those high school essays go by a lot faster :P This shit, right here, is OK

That'd be the lazy ass category. I can say that cuz I'm a student. Depends on what your major is. Being an aeronautical/mechanical engineering double major, I spend over 40 hours a week on schoolwork. This shit, right here, is OK
