  1. I started jumping when I was 21, but I wish I had been jumping since 16 This shit, right here, is OK
  2. I wore my Oakley Minutes in freefall once. They didn't stay in place super well without a helmet on, but they did block out the air pretty good This shit, right here, is OK
  3. Someone asked for it a while ago and I was kinda bored, so here it is. I didn't spend much time doing camera angles and animations because I am at work after all... http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/6874941/ This shit, right here, is OK
  4. The only accident I've been in was because of a women driver. She made a left turn in front of me, and I couldn't see her until she was in the intersection 20' in front of me. This shit, right here, is OK
  5. Why couldn't they be 24 year old twins... This shit, right here, is OK
  6. Turning 180 degrees at the end of a tracking dive should NEVER be done. Even though you think you are the tail of the group, you might not be. If someone behind you is still heading in the original direction and you turn back at them, the closing speed will be deadly if there is a collision. If you believe you are at the tail end of the group, just slow your forward speed to create horizontal separation and sink out. Once you get to deployment altitude, wave off like hell and deploy. I was going to mention that but you beat me to it. What I did on my first few tracking dives since I sunk out and was behind everybody was keep tracking til breakoff and then carve a 90 in my track, trying to keep an eye on everyone else and where they were going. 8. Build me a tracking tunnel!!! This shit, right here, is OK
  9. I've sped up the openings on my canopy some by not pulling the slider in front of the nose (just pulling it straight down) and then opening each of the nose cells a little and leaving them out to catch air. That worked well for me. This shit, right here, is OK
  10. We typically organize 10-15 way tracking dives on the weekends. The organizer always tells us to barrel roll before we pull. What's your thought on doing a barrel roll before pulling specifically in a tracking dive? This shit, right here, is OK
  11. :5:0 I'm counting numbers starting from Thursday since this weekend was so slow. Thursday worked on some FF stuff, Friday I did a 4-way jump. Saturday it rained so I got in one H&P. We decided to launch an AFF exit from 4,000 with me as the student just for kicks. Finished the weekend off yesterday with a sunset track dive for my first skybirthday! This shit, right here, is OK
  12. We routinely do tracking dives at my DZ where we get out 2 miles from the airport and track back. Tracking dives are one of my favorite things to do! This shit, right here, is OK
  13. Happy birthday!! This shit, right here, is OK
  14. Or a vacuum cleaner, some tupperwear, some duct tape... Sounds like some MacGyver shit right there This shit, right here, is OK
  15. Are you saying that I should not downsize until I have done landings using double fronts and front riser turns? This shit, right here, is OK
  16. If money isn't a problem, just get liposuction. It's probably cheaper than trying to get gear that would work for you. This shit, right here, is OK
  17. I have a jumpsuit that is perfect for me, but it was 90 degrees out and I was planning on trying to sitfly until they wanted to throw something together at the last minute This shit, right here, is OK
  18. I liked Facebook a lot better when it first started up. It required a college email address, so it was mainly either kids I graduated high school with or people I had just met at college. This shit, right here, is OK
  19. My old boss from last fall who is around 350# just told me the other day after having me work for him and talk about skydiving he's been thinking of trying it. I couldn't bring myself to tell him it would be impossible at his weight. I'm 6' 195 # and sometimes have trouble staying with other jumpers if I don't dress right. Today I went out in shorts and a t-shirt and was as de-arched and big as I could get to try to stay with the formation. Then again I was jumping with girls who are all under 130 This shit, right here, is OK
  20. 920, 46 of whom I have never met in person or don't know very well. The rest are current friends, or people who I used to be closer with but haven't talked to in a while. This shit, right here, is OK
  21. "And technically both teams were disqualified because no one made a jump wearing nothing but a thong" hahaha Awesome video Joe This shit, right here, is OK
  22. This is my new favorite quote This shit, right here, is OK
  23. Congrats! I will probably be up at the DZ Thursday-Sunday so come find me if you want someone to jump with! This shit, right here, is OK
  24. That's a lot of beef. How was it and what's your DZ's supposed cutoff? We took a student that was 275 yesterday. There is an extra $20 charge for being over 235, and an extra $40 if you are over 255 This shit, right here, is OK
