Whats the highest # of users seen online at once?
ernokaikkonen replied to AggieDave's topic in The Bonfire
>your subliminal message doesn't work unless it's actually visible, and/or >audible.... Hmph! Who are you to tell me how to use MY subliminal messages?? Besides, I'm just promoting the messages themselves... Try Nathan's posts... Or NacMac's... -

I think Sangiro actually posted that statistic just this week! Does anyone remember the thread it was in?

You want to submit an exact figure for the 70+ category?

>Plus REALLY big cajones!!! and maybe a good measure of stupidity. Optional, but helpful!Show the boobies...show the boobies >Wouldn't you also need a skyboard?! I can see how someone could see that as a necessity. But the aviation regulations don't mention a mandatory board for a skysurf jump. 98930 posts on the wall... this is hard... (edit for typo to protect drunken self from nitpicky types)

98946 posts on the wall, take one down and... Useless trivia of the day: In Finland, you need 500 jumps to apply for a D-license. Nothing else. 500 accuracy jumps will do. Another piece: If you want to skysurf, you need to have a D-license. And that's all you need!

ernokaikkonen replied to Icarus021's topic in The Bonfire
>Wow. That's one skinny chick. I have to go throw up my breakfast now. I'd do the same but I'm finishing my fifth beer so I don't want to waste the good stuff... I don't like chicks that skinny either. -
>The attachment loop is covered with a Teflon sheath, to >protect it from dangerous friction which may occur during deployment Yeah gotta watch put for that dangerous friction... I'd prefer one of those escape chutes made by some BASE manufacturers.

Depends. Sometimes I go jogging almost every day for a couple of months, then for the next few months I do nothing.

>"You know, Bob, one of these days, they're going to scream >too late, and we're all gonna die."

I'd guess somebody ejecting from a fighter jet... Wearing an ejection-seat and air force overalls...

Ok, stick to that story and you'll be fine...

>But in the absence of any other 'formal testing' what would you >use as a guide? I dunno. Take turns wearing different helmets and be repeatedly hit on the head with a baseball-bat? Wear a helmet and bang your head on a wall, see which one feels the best? Seriously, I'd take one that has a lot of foam-padding(to reduce the rate of deceleration during an impact), like a protec/fairwind, or one that absorbs the impact-energy by cracking/crushing itself(I'd suppose most fullface models do that). >Bear in mind this is coming from a guy who jumps a Gath Which IMO is best at protecting your ears from freezing off... I use a Fairwind(Italian Protec-style) myself... Erno

>The final one is funny as frig No. It is not. It is gross. What's wrong with you people? -
>Extreame embarrasment, whats wrong witha cycle? > (Also saw it on Frasier it suited Niles). That alone is reason enough not to buy one...

>dropped hers from about 3000ft, and it survived pretty well, so I'd >opt for one of those.... Surviving drops isn't exactly the first thing I'd look into in a helmet... It tells practically nothing of the protective value of it.
