  1. This might get this thread shipped off to the SC, but here is one of the questions I have to answer....
  2. I make outlines from time to time but I normally just go for it and start writing then try to organize it all after the fact. I'll give it go this time, HIWFM
  3. Absolutely not. I tend to just start typing whatever comes to mind and when I go to revise it, it sounds good to me . I tend to have scattered thoughts so I don't notice my main points being spread out through the paper instead of being organized in a logical flow.
  4. I tend not to. Instead of saying "I think this because...", I just state my opinion like it's a fact.
  5. ...and just plain good writers. I have an essay to write for my Environmental Ethics class and my writing is less than good . It's mostly opinion stuff so it's hard to screw up the content and the teacher tells me my ideas and opinions make sense and are backed up, but that my writing and sentence structure flat out sucks. Anyone have any tips on how to write good philosophy papers or any other writing tips?
  6. Mmmmmmmmmmm, veggie kabobs are the bee's knees
  7. You ignored my post I want attention!!! I was asking if anyone else thinks shiitake mushrooms taste "buttery" (without doing anything to them). They taste "buttery" to me in the same way certain varieties of wild-Pacific salmon do (again, without doing anything to it). I love shiitakes.
  8. Those are the best recipes! Finding an awesome recipe, modifying the ingredients to make it your own/what you like, and making it totally tasty!
  9. You ignored my post I want attention!!!
  10. OMG That sounds delicious!!! I love making Portabella Mushroom Burgers...instead of a meat patty, used 1-2 huge portabello mushrooms, lightly tossed in olive oil, grill them up....toppings? Up to you! I light to saute some onions and a bit of garlic, fresh tomatoes, and some fresh crisp lettuce...dress with some balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper....all sandwiched between two slices of your favorite toasted bread.
  11. I love that show. Not so much to make me feel better about myself, but I'm always interested in the human psyche, they've got real issues (some will dispute that)
  12. I'm a Hawks fan, and obviously hoping for the best. The Blackhawks have knocked the Nucks out of the playoffs the last two years, but the Hawks are definitely a different team this year. I'm ready for an exciting series.
  13. Really? No more Easter eggs...Call them 'Spring Spheres'
  14. So true. Here's my question....is my generation at fault (us youngsters 18-30ish) for loving all this reality TV shit, or is it the baby boomers (the ones possibly owning the companies supporting all this crap)? I could be wrong about which generation owns these companies and funds all this crap TV..
  15. [rant] Anyone else love this show??? I do, for one reason only. I take about 10 minutes of my day to tune in, watch with my jaw on the floor, turn it off, and I feel 1000000x better about myself and my life and that I'm not like those fudged up families. [rant?]
  16. Ummm...because....mad....skill..........pass?
  17. Ah-fucking-em. The anti-skankin youth of today. People that stand there video taping the show instead of participating in it are just as bad. Get up, dance, and punch someone. People that go to punk shows
  18. I'd say you are...except when it comes to hockey
