    : 3 : I might as well buy a pallet! Did an RW coach jump, a hop 'n' pop (from a ridiculous altitude of 8,000' because I think the pilot forgot), and a jump with the love of my life! Yeah, so tons of beer owed: 1. Finally completed requirements for A License and faxed in application 2. First time jumping my new Gunner helmet (I LOVE this helmet!) 3. First time jumping my ProTrack that AndyMan got me for Xmas last year (Average speed, 135...I really do fall like a homesick anvil! Note to self--next thing to learn: flying flat.) 4. First jump with my Luv 5. First kiss pass I'm sure there are more reasons for beer somewhere!     I lived in east Lakeview for 4 years, and it's an awesome neighbourhood. Pretty much a young crowd (20s-30s), always something happening. However, rent is relatively expensive (it's getting pricier every year) and the studios are small. Definitely take a look in the Chicago Reader: http://www.chireader.com And if you're going to be in the city for a few days apartment hunting, I highly recommend The Apartment People. It's a free apartment-finding service. If/when you make an appointment, ask for Bruno. He's the best agent there.     That is an awesome suggestion! Thank you much...we ordered the rings last night, and that's what we decided on! We wanted the infinity symbol, too (thank you for that idea, skytrixaz!), but since it's a special character, it would have to be hand-engraved, and that costs quite a bit more. I guess we could've added the word "forever," but I would much rather have the symbol, so we left it off all together. Hope they come out nice...we'll see in about a week.

    1977 - Born in Newton, KS 1981 - Moved to Wichita, KS 1983 - Moved to Knoxville, TN 1995 - Moved to Lake Forest, IL (30 miles north of Chicago) for college 1999 - Moved to Chicago, IL after graduating and been here since. Will probably move again...I have the same wanderlust as AndyMan! As I said in the "Tips for non-natives visiting Chicago" thread, native Chicagoans NEVER leave. It's not that they don't travel or don't live somewhere else for a while, they just always come back to Chicago or the greater Chicagoland area. What I find odd are the people who have no desire to travel and no curiosity to visit other places.     I love that site! Many months ago, my coworker was browsing it and found the attached picture, which used to be posted there. However, I imagine that the guy got a lot of complaints about it so he took it down.     Oh, I do I do! I used to watch it all the time when they first started it. My favourites were Home Movies, The Brak Show and Sealab 2021!
