Hopefully I'll be able to jump by then! My shoulder is still givin' me trouble. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Any kinkiness that Robyn has acquired was through no fault of ours, thank you! It's all Kennedy's fault! He's the one who has the handcuffs (which are SO amateur, btw )! _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

It's Adrenaline Rush: The Science of Risk. Yah, it was pretty cool that it "flew," but I wonder how that thing would "land." Don't think that the passenger would have walked away if he had landed DaVinci's canopy. Hmm, I thought we were in Speakers Corner and not General Skydiving Discussions! _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Hey, so I didn't have to marry a Canadian to get into Canada?! Dammit, Andy! You tricked me! Umm...er...oh, wait. I love you, AndyMan! _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Since people are STILL creating threads about Fahrenheit 9/11... http://www.republicansreview911.com Did anybody enter the contest? Anyone planning to? The deadline is TOMORROW (July 24th)! If you've entered or are going to enter, post your essay here, too! I'm interested in reading a well-thought out and coherent anti-F9/11 essay from a fellow DZ.commer who has actually seen the film... Or am I asking for too much? _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Oh, oh...ohhhh...ohhhhh...OHHH, GOD YEAH! I guess my screaming for Aimee's hot sex doesn't play out the same way on an internet forum. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Well, DUH! It's a requirement for good friends to razz each other constantly about sexual inside jokes. So, Robyn...are you going to tell us about your Alabama adventures? I know you and Kennedy have this thing for handcuffs... _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Did the water training last year...it's kind of silly. We went to the YMCA in DeKalb. We had to put on an empty container, jump in the deep end, and then a bigass canopy was thrown on top of us. We had to take off the harness, and swim out from under the canopy and up to the surface. If we didn't swim out far enough and ended up underneath the canopy, we were supposed to punch up and create an air pocket. I never really did figure out how that technique was supposed to work... The best part was driving to DeKalb in the early morning when our brains weren't working so well... I was in a car with Erica and Nathaniel, and Erica was talking about how she normally doesn't like Polish sausage, but PP gave her some the other night and she LOVED it! I behaved and didn't say anything snarky at the time. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

WOW, so you're actually coming out to the DZ?! Not going to Alabama?! Not shirking your duties as the Pro Shop Girl, a position that I have since usurped, by the way! _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Well, since I work in Prints & Photographs/Rights & Licensing at the Chicago Historical Society, I have to push my organization. Dunno if you're in the Chicago area, but if you are, I'd be glad to help you out. Awesome pictures, including this one can be found at the Chicago Historical Society. PM me if you're interested. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

My score is a 2. 1) I worked with Gary Sinise in a fundraiser for one of my professors at Columbia College Chicago. 2) Gary Sinise was in Apollo 13 (1995) with Kevin Bacon. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

You write the caption(s). AndyMan said it will certainly bring a new meaning to downloading at dropzone.com! _Pm Edited to add: P.S. - For those of you in the city of Chicago who would like to do a "download" at the DropZone porta-potty, it can be found at about 1200 W. Heh...yah, AndyMan and I are members, too. Have you seen the Penn & Teller show "Bullshit!"? They had a great episode recently about how members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are a really weird and scary brainwashed bunch. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

Cos we're really poor. Buying an unfinished condo and still having to pay rent does that to ya. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC) -
Oh really? Gramzay knew that Roy and Silo had paired off, because at breeding time, they did everything the "straight" penguins did: they built a nest, they defended it from others and engaged in what zookeepers euphemistically call "ecstatic display." ... Back in the tank, Roy and Silo's behavior indicated that they really wanted a kid. Zookeepers gave them a dummy penguin egg, just to see if they'd actually incubate it. When they did, zookeepers gave them an actual egg, which Roy and Silo again incubated. When the baby chick was born, Roy and Silo cared for it, feeding it yummy regurgitated smelt and keeping it warm until it could survive on its own. Years later, Roy and Silo are still going strong. And so are all their heterosexual penguin pals who share the tank with them. So that dispels one myth about gay marriage: Roy and Silo's commitment to each other has not destroyed the sanctity of the other penguin marriages. Gramzay said the penguin divorce rate remains the same as it was before Roy and Silo hooked up. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4352011/ _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

I'm glad you pointed it out! I think I've been irritating him with my grammar nazi ways. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC) -
This concept is so foreign to me. Why does marriage = religion? Does that mean that you wouldn't recognize my heterosexual marriage with AndyMan because it has no basis in religion whatsoever? Okay, you obviously know that there are churches the world over that are acknowledging gay marriage. If a gay couple has a religious marriage ceremony, shouldn't that make the union a marriage since the union is blessed in a religious nature? _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

I can see what you're saying about differentiating a gov't civil union vs. a religious sacrament, but why does the semantics of it make a difference if I can still call the union what I want? If we're going to go by your definition that marriage is a purely religious institution, Andy and I are not married. Neither are my sister and brother-in-law, nor my mother and father. Which of you would like to tell them that they're not really married? The next time somebody asks Andy and me if we're married, we should say, "No, it turns out that we're not because some people think that marriage is a purely religious institution. Since Andy and I were united in a civil ceremony, the proper designation would be that we are civilly united. Our marriage is a sham!" Marriage is a social construct. It doesn't belong to religions or to the government. It belongs to the people who choose to commit their lives to each other with a marriage ceremony, whether it be a civil union or a religious ceremony. _Pm __ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)
