  1. awww... i feel loved hmm, people like me. maybe i should post more... done and DONE You're still fairly new. You are supposed to feel stalked. Boiled rabbit kinda stalked.
  2. Well, Duh, Dude. We've had this conversation. Some of us just aren't quite gay enough to touch another guy's wanker. Besides, what the hell do you mean by "nice"? I'm a gentleman, and monogamous, but I am hardly nice. "I don't think you are non-threatening" - Amy VonNovak But I am a gentleman who keeps his promises. And SM1 is right. Plenty of wussie guys will try the backdoor "let's cuddle" crap to get in your pants. Good luck, women. Between chicks who give it away for nothing, and guys who don't suffer repercussions for screwing around, you have a tough row to hoe. All y'all should agree to stop putting out until the guys treat you right. Form a union, or something. Won't slow the gentlemen down, at all.
  3. Not to mention Illinois Nazis. I hate Illinois Nazis.
  4. Happy Birthday Muenkey.

    The Golden Summer

I think this is it, for me, for skydiving. Today was nothing but fun from the get-go. Got to work ( I have no other gainful employment, so the DZ is "work") Did a freefly jump with Q that kept my hope alive of having a head down that will play well with others, then did tandems and AFF all day. First tandem was with Q on the load, and we were able to nearly bump end cells while the father and son we carried respectively, got to hoot and holler at each other at about 2 grand. The son is an 18 year old man who enlisted in the Navy and wants to be a SEAL. He's coming back to do AFF. It was the young man's birthday and they shared a cake with thier family who came to watch them. Did the main side on a level 2 with ChopChop and a student who has great potential and passed the level. He's a really nervous guy, and I think I was able to inspire some confidence in him. Had several pretty women as tandem students. Videoscooter had most of the camera work with the pretty ones Had a guy who was about 45 who didn't think he could do a tandem because he had a foot crushed and has a partial prosthetic. I slid him in and made his day. He was jumping with his son, on his son's 18th birthday, and he was really glad he was able to share the plane ride. He gave me $20 and told me to buy myself a beer. It was really hot, but nobody was bitching. People teased me about my pictures in the recent magazines. Kevin, who was on the 121 way with me, shared a hell of a belly laugh. When the work was done, (and before the beer light came on!) I folded up my money and met my family for dinner at a fun family restaurant called Pee Wee Muldoon's in Brentwood (My Brentwood, not OJ's) Me and my Mrs. shared fajitas while the girls had a corndog and fries and spaghetti. It was a great day. I got to use my ratings and I made a lot of people happy. A lot of people made me happy right back. And Mattias gave me this picture he took last weekend. Life is a bizarre stew of events and emotions. My skydiving community is the good stuff. The good stuff that you remember when you are chewing up something rancid and awful. The good stuff you look forward to eating next. I wonder if it can get much better. This is the golden summer of skydiving for me.
  6. I'm watching a movie about it tonight. It has DeNiro in it, so it should be good. I think the premise is that cloned people are vessels of Satan. It has DeNiro in it, so it's probably true. In Vitro babies, too, no doubt. All those middle class folks in their late 30's and 40's having multiple baby pregenacies, vessels for Satan. I don't know what he's gonna do with hundreds of thousands of them, though.
  7. The only way you're not going to get a comment is if you use your powers and lock the thread. Argh.
  8. I've got a dollar to a doughnut that you have had sex with a lurker. So who really give a shiite about the whole dating thing? Derrrr. You are such a retard. (Not a personal attack. Just a personal observation after surviving a dinner date with the Biotch after sushi and gallons of Asahi. Actually I survived a couple dinner dates with the Biotch, including after hours Messican "puch faard ona chacha HANNO!") She is a retard, Joe. Way to lurk, dude.
  9. What he said. AND the flat top pro gives you the ability to change out the tops for different camera configurations. When you drill the FT narrow, you are stuck with those holes.
  10. Dude, you need to chill. You are still carrying around that ROTC v. Ringbanger chip. As to Eloy. If your future wife is going to be in Florida, I'm thinking that's where you want to be, FF partner or not. Odds are, you might even get laid . If you end up in AZ, though, I'll be happy to drink some of your Shiner!
  11. I rough edit the video into themes. I pick music that I like for that section of the video and lay that down. I re-edit the video to match the beats or vocals of the music. Example of mine is at PullTime.net Download the DZ.Holiday Boogie 2003 preview. That's an example of having too much good video, so I tagged another bit of music on the end.
  12. Yeah, but it is completely worth the wait.
  13. Folks, I yanked a mighty 45 degree turn upon emerging from clouds in Sweden, and the ENITIRE group held their slots. I'll try and post some video of it soon, but it can be done. The Other Andy was like a fly in amber in formation. Jari, too. It can be done, and it looks very, very cool.
  14. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. I can never think of our 206 at Byron without thinking of GirlFallDown laughing at me (in a "with" kind of way) when I was pelted off the strut by sleet. The Meunkel jump out of the turbine DC-3 at my first Memorial Day Boogie at Perris is a stand out too. That turbine DC-3 is the one me and Sebastian did that sit fly jump out of. Planes are cool. I took some very cool pictures of Amy and Hottamaly in the Perris DC-9, too. That Davis 182 just made me reflect on it a little.
  15. I don't get it. Skydiving is a great place to just fit in, without being a narc. I found it to be a wonderful oasis of just people who enjoy an eclectic hobby. All the adrenaline of a search warrant service without the whole getting shot at thing. If I'm around when you do any records, I'm there for you, but in the meantime, just be who you are. The people at the DZ are great to know, and having them be surprised to find out you are the five-oh is nice, don't you think?
  16. I did 4 tandems out of Skydance's 182 today. Nothing but fun! Dan, the pilot, gets that thing so slow it's like a freaking balloon jump!
  17. Deuce

    Make me happy.

Yeah, Seb. Very, very fun. It's a happy thing to grow in a sport with such cool people.
  18. See! I told you my European friends would be there!
  19. Our 206 is out for repairs, so today Skydance sent down Dan the pilot of thier 182, and Marcus to help me do tandems. Funny as you jump, how planes and people bring back memories. First off, I'm thinking SoCal JP has probably hucked hundreds of tandems out of this plane. And I'm thinking of Emily, who was the first person ever to respond to a post I made on Dropzone.com jumping with me from this plane with Brook. Hilarious memory, as it was her first piston engine jump, and first ever strut-hang. Where are you Emily? Brook? (I know Brook's at Otay) The Perris Skyvan is the first one I ever hung from. I'll always think of Casa's as the plane I did the 121 sequential record from. C-130's I will always remember as Sweden, plain and simple. How about you? Any special memories associated with airplanes you've jumped from?
  20. The LE versions exist only to frustrate you into getting the full version. They are a waste of time.
  21. OMFG...why? To offend. In the European tradition....
  22. Dude, I'm there. I think, from listening to the folks who are way better at the suit thing than me, that the vertical folks must be above and in front of the base to get to clear air. I will mount cameras backwards, suck my gut in, roll my shoulders forward and ARCH to make it happen. I'm all about the records. Let's keep moving toward the slot perfect standard needed for the international records.
