  1. Yeah, I'll get them up tonight. But I am really wanting to know how to DO THE HEAD-DOWN THING! Can't do it with the Battleship on. CHow. I'm outta here. JP
  2. Yeah, Evan is much more generous than me, and MUY more highly skilled. Nice shots, huh? Byron Love, baby.
  3. Dude, here's a picture where you failed to geek. http://madstyle.net/images/jpeg/030704/640/DSC03268.JPG I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN YOU . Or maybe I should be proud that you'd never miss an opportunity like this with ME! Your 4th of July Shots are on Evan's site. http://madstyle.net
  4. AHAHAHAHA! Makes you feel so alive when you don't get dead!
  5. Ah! Excellent! Does he have to keep one hand on it at all times like that! Whoo-shah! Nice neck! I think we have a Winnah! (Video class, That Movie thing is a whole nother beast...)

    pics!

I'm glad you had fun, and won money and got lucky and all that, but I'm still moderately pissed you didn't show up on Saturday. Well not quite that pissed, cause you called, but still.... (Edit: not you Hookitt, Bytch. And BTW, hooking Mark's reserve up so he could get back up was another kindness on a big pile. You are quality people.)
  7. When you eventually show up on a DZ.invasion, they are so going to kick your ass. I'm selling my other toys, mostly competition rifles and pistols from when that was my thing. I'm about ready to part with my McMillan National Match M1A, that should get me about 20 blocks of tickets. I have a nice David-Clark headset I keep forgetting to trade the DZO for tickets, too.
  8. Whoa. Since you mention it I must elaborate. The Chopster tells me he's ready for the 170 but is jumping a 150 -same difference that led to my near tib-fib crash. He's got way more jumps than me, he'll be fine. We have a great 5 way freefly jump and break off. I land first and I turn and see Chop setting up in the same corner I used when I crashed. Chop hooks it low and panic-stabs out right at impact and is rewarded with a gust of wind that MIRACULOUSLY saves him. He is right over the divots that are still there from my knees last November. Every now and again we get lucky and get reminded about danger without a trip to the hospital. I'm not usually quite THAT lucky, but it's good to see somebody else get a "break". And it was fun to see cool 'ole ChopChop's eyes all dilated from a near death experience. I'll have to post the pictures. BWAH!
  9. You gotta master breathing through your nose. Come to think of it, watching people who gasp and sweat while eating makes me pretty uncomfortable
  10. Watching unwelcome teasing or low-level harassment. I hate it when somebody tries to communicate in jest what they don't have the guts to say outright. It drives me nuts to see somebody being made uncomfortable by somebody who knows they are being rude. I'm obviously enough unbalanced that it rarely happens to me, but I hate watching it. "Excuse me miss? Can I please kick this guy's ass?"
  11. The site doesn't mention the .5, but Max has it. It's dynamite for tandems and RW. If you look further up the post, you'll see the comparison pictures I took. No, the vignette does not show on the video.
  12. Well, your'e not doomed, those lenses are almost as inexpensive as UV filters these days. If you're shooting for money, you are obliged to replace it. Hey, at least it's not the camera!
  13. Oh, that's right, you're the guy with the trophy for most sh*t on his head! Jimmy, you gotta post a picture or your setup. I've read it described as ten grand worth of gear on a $10 hockey helmet or something similar. I thought my BatRack with the 10D and the 550EX up top with the PC120 on the side was pretty Borg-ish, but I think your stuff will win I liked that HP printer too, but I ended up investing in a Epson 2200. The ink is marginally cheaper and I like the option of printing the bigger pictures.
  14. That's a really good point. With a 5 megapixel cam like the Sony, you will recoup your costs quickly. You will also progress as a aerial photographer MUCH more quickly. My recent switch to digital has really accellerated my photography, and my flying skills. You gotta get in there and get the picture, so you gotta fly harder. Jimmy, what's the object in the bottom left portion of the images? Your helmet? Are you using a wide angle convertor on the cam? JP
  15. I was a Nikon guy before skydiving, so I have an N90s. If I did it over I'd definitely get a Canon Rebel. Lighter, less expensive, and the Conceptus switches are wired for them.
  16. http://www.pcconnection.com/scripts/showcase/productdetail.asp?product_id=299335&vendor=Simpletech That card is overkill. It holds almost 500 files. I can keep 4 days worth of boogie pictures in there. Check the threads here, I posted a link that Quade gave me regarding the speed of the different cards. It really affects how quickly your camera can go. That said, those Simpletech cards, well the gig one anyway, are plenty fast enough. And it's so fun to look at the indicator when it says "338 pictures left"

    HOLY FUKN MONKEY

SadSue, you gotta look me up at Byron, hon. I've got the locker out near the corner of the doors by Marty. Closest to the Hangar Doors. I'll finish my Coach requirements eventually, and I'll comp your coach jumps. Just for your goofy avatars. JP Giving back. It's all about giving back. Where's my box of wine......?

You have to be specific. Which number? Humps, Jumps or Cases Owed. I was average on jumps, 8, but amazing in, uh, other.... WHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH! SING ME A SONG SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!
  20. I'm drunk posting with JTVal. Man, I rock. Did I tell you how amazing I was this morning? So amazing I got a Sunday pass to go skydiving. Hooo-wah. I will eventually figure out this human being thing. Today was pretty good. Took the girls to see "Sinbad", Uh, that movie was not really good. Saving Nemo was good. Fat Tire Amber Ale is good. So is Cuervo. I'm a good driver. I drive the car. K Mart clothes suck.
  21. Yeah...she really was...we just weren't at the same junctions in life at the moment. Oh well...."The sun will come out...tomorrow!!!" *GAG* Brother. That conjunction shit is the most important of all. When you are at learning how to do the cop thing and she's at the MAKE A BABY WITH ME NOW YOU BASTARD place that won't work either. Figure out what you want and don't get distracted by ass. Get reassigned to that muggy mosquito haven you like so much and find a woman there. Be the ball, Danny.
  22. I hardwired my N90S, soldered right onto the camera. Haven't had any problems with it. I don't think a tongue switch would react, a bite switch might. Interesting question.
  23. You're ready Clay. Date to find the woman you will spend forever with. That chick wasn't it. Ka-CHING! The next one might not be either, but somebody who's good enough is. Say it with me: How you doin?
  24. Have kids, you monkeys. They are the focus. Not tits or waistlines, or hairlines , or your damned ass. Watch your childrens faces when you embrace. That is more beautiful than we will ever be. Ever. (Fat Tire Amber Ale, 3 so far, good stuff)
