A retired policeman has just been shot to death in the New York City Hall. In context, I asked a greenie to save the discussion for another day. JP Turn out he may not have retired, but may be a former officer. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=716&e=1&u=/ap/20030723/ap_on_re_us/city_hall_gunfire

I know that THAT JP is what is called a 'breeder' in the SF Bay Area. This cute chick named Cora told me so...

Accomplished? Did I miss something? Was she on the 300-way or did she win a gold medal in skysurfing or something when I wasn't looking? Clearly she accomplished at least one skydive Why so critical, Q? She vote for GWB or something?

You can print photos to the memory stick from the video while paused. That's an escape hatch when you have a stills camera malfunction on a Stills and Video jump (I haven't had to do this yet, but I've seen it done) For small print sizes its marginally OK.

Congrats. And congrats to Lew for the 10D and the shutterfly site. That's Quade, Lew, and me letting somebody else do most of that work. So, even though you don't have to pay for film, you might consider putting that savings into a website or shutterfly ( I vote shutterfly ) so you can share all those pictures! What lens are you jumping? (You too, Lew)

Thread drift . . . stream of conciousness or bane to all mankind?

Conjunction is my function. Diapers, Timmae!, kids get tired of toys but they never tire of soiling themselves. You have to change those diapers like once a day! -
WHa? I don't think he's got a GoldWing trailer-hitch, so he probably doesn't have to deal with tongue-weight. Maybe he tows a server around so he can constantly be in control of DZ.com?

The artistic folds that Tim puts in a reserve repack would make him the most famoust of all designers. He could fold 10 petticoats into his back pocket. I like pita pocket bread. I like to be a PITA. -
Der. Like Cajones of all people doesn't know he's got a knockout. I am preserving my stalking skills for when my daughters start dating. I'm thinking there's a lot of boys gonna end up on milk cartons then....

I'm about the same weight. I started with a Tony C wing, and it wasn't big enough. I have a custom huge Tony D wing now, and it has the range to stay with everybody. I work at sort of a tandem mill, so we've got instructors at weights all over the map. It takes a big wing and a lot of practice to stay mobile with the floaty pairs. With Vectors you have the additional challenge of getting low enough to get a good face shot. To get the angle I want, I have my arms down in front of me like I'm doing a push-up with my knees on the ground but with my hands a little more than shoulder width apart. Go practice on your own dime with the really floaty ones so that you can work on your flying without sweating the camera work.

I got the organ and the juice. I'm keeping the motorcycle and I'll have the goddamn SF3 in time to get video and photographs of you and SM1 kicking my ass at Eloy. BTFU MF! And thanks for the drunk tittie bar voicemail. With my Mom along and my phone out of range I'm really fucking glad I wasn't able to answer. She frowns on "What the fuck up? Monkey lip?!"

Bytch. I'll be on the bench team for the 140-whatever sequential record attempt next spring. I'm staying at your place. No smoking in your own house. Ach. Bytch! Congrats!

Sorry, how very rude of me! http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/gallery/imageFolio.cgi?action=view&link=Mug_Shots&image=lewmonst.jpg&img=48&tt= And she's like basketball-kick-your-ass-tall too! -She was on the home page, and I was like, hey! I've met that chick!

Check out the CameraBytch's new mugshot. I'm thinking Cajones mighta took it. I'd give him credit for being a great photographer, but when the subject matter is so good, it's more than likely just a good camera....

if it has a lanc port it should work, I think. Maybe contact Skytools directly, they've helped me before. JP

I'll have to wait until I earn enough video money to get one. So I'll miss out on the pantz, but I'll continue to remain at least tenously married I'll definitely have one this fall. I gotta get my GTi jumps mastered before that anyhow. Yeah, we'll have to work on getting Garmin to sponsor us. We'll put an article with a wicked picture in the "Adventures in GPS" page for sure.

Heck, I'm already putting this thing together and all the parts are at home. That's the nice thing about the Stoboframe system, once you've got the bases on, you can click just about anything into them. Since the bird people are last out, maybe you could just loiter in the door with your head out for a 30 count and then jump. Wow. Just when I thought I had enough stuff on my head, I can now put a GPS on the top of my D-box....
-
Josh? What are your pull procedures when shooting from below like that?
-
too bad you nodded off during the landing portion huh? D'oh!!!!!
-
Hey, LouDiamond! I've got a GPS V I use on my motorcycle, and it just occurred to me that the flat spot on your new RAWA would be a great mounting location. Put a Stoboframe quick release on and modify the dash mount to hold the GPS to the Stroboframe QR. I have mine mounted on the handlebar of my scooter, and I've had it faster than anybody is going in a birdman suit. And the location would get great satellite reception. 'Cept for that big metal plate in your head

I'm thinking anti-lock brakes might be more effective. Like on my Bimmer.... (Caution flamers: Sangiro rides BMW with anti-lock) Plus there's that whole power and handling thing without having to spend a zillion dollars on the aftermarket. But, yeah, I'll never know the thrill of setting off car alarms with a good rev. My life is so empty.....

Are we talking tandems? You're wings may not be perfectly symetrical, so you have to drop the opposite knee a little. Rotating counter-clockwise, drop a little left knee, pull in a little left wing. With RW, I try to align myself with the road pattern on the ground ASAP after the exit. Ideally this is along the line of flight.
