Get Kenwood that can read MP3. They are a little more expensive, but they're good. Oh and what will you use the CD player for? just listening, for competitions, for ... ? that depends a lot which player is reasonable to get. "George just lucky i guess!"

I tried to find it on that page, but no luck... And i still can't find it. "George just lucky i guess!"

And does anybody know how can i contact organizers of mondial 2003 in France. Does anybody know their email? "George just lucky i guess!"
-
you're serious ? well if you are i sure am. we'll talk about the price for packing though "George just lucky i guess!"
-
Oh i forgot to post why i do it as i do. I lean my head back and pull my shoulders up to hold (protect) the neck in case of a hard opening. Plus i get to see if the canopy opens right. "George just lucky i guess!"

QuoteI believe they run around $400,000.00 Quote Huh that's even more than my Mirage G4 "George just lucky i guess!"

I know another version of this. it goes like: Knock, Knock "who's there" "Duck." "what duck?" "Yellow duck" But it sounds much better in Slovene language... "George just lucky i guess!"

Please post your reasons on why do you do what you do with your head at opening. "George just lucky i guess!"

What do your parents think of your skydiving?
grega replied to andy2's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
well mine are pretty ok too. My mom just doesn't want to think about it too much, because she gets scared then. But i really hate it that my dad doesn't remember what's FreeFly. everytime he asks me what will i be doing this weekend, i response: i'll be freeflying. and he asks, what's that? isn't that like when you're grabbing with someone in the air... and i explain it to him every time over and over again... arghh They are great otherwise -
Like before, this year too Boogie Rock otocec will be held at DZ Novo Mesto on 27.Jun - 29.Jun.2003. Airplane is L-410 Turbolet. price is 18EUR for 13.000 feet. First load is 15.000 feet for the same price. Camping is for free, we'll have a big tent with big screen for videos, food and drinks for low price, Lots of nice girls (hopefully),... Temperatures here in Slovenia at this time of year are 25 - 30 C. Weather is most of the time perfect for jumping. Sunny with few white puffy clouds. So if anyone is in the vicinity, he's very welcome. For All information post here, call +386 41/612-505 (Veso) or send email to: vesmin@siol.net "George just lucky i guess!"

Sending good vibes from Slovenia to New Mexico too

When did you go to an elliptical canopy?
grega replied to superstu's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Bought or try? i tried first eliptical at around 200th jump. but i don't own one YET. i'm planing on buying one in one or two months at around 350 jumps. "George just lucky i guess!" -
could you define what that "front riser usable control range" means. i've tried to find out if there is possible to pull front riser to much to be effective. if you pull both front risers too much, you make sort of a stairstep in canopies shape, and that's not good well at least not efficient. But i never got to find out if single front riser can be pulled to much. i mean pulling it that much that it's not efficient any more. So can you please explain what means front riser usable control range. "George just lucky i guess!"

Video on the net of 418 ft swoop??????
grega replied to BluDvn222's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
It seems like everybody forgot about this. but i still haven't seen the 418 feet swoop. so how about that video? or is it impossible to get it? "George just lucky i guess!" -
incidents/unsafe situations with non freefly friendly gear
grega replied to Monsterchute's topic in Safety and Training
Thing i was affraid of the most, when i jumped "non freefly friendly" rig, was horseshoe. some bridle was exposed and i was affraid that a container could open up when i'd be sit flying... "George just lucky i guess!" -
Talon3 looking better than mirage g4. hmm that's like saying that Fiat looks better than Porsche. hmm could be but it's not logical p.s. sorry for changing the subject of the thread. It won't happen again "George just lucky i guess!"
-
hmm, strange that you like my rig then. i think it's quite distinguished from "the crowd". and that's one of the reasons why i like it
-
How many jumps before you purchased your own rig?
grega replied to Skylark's topic in Safety and Training
At 307th jump That way i could get myself canopy small enough to be able to jump it at least another 1000 jumps. I got my "experience" on rented/borrowed canopies so it's not like i'm getting from student canopy directly to a pocket rocket. If i'd get myself a canopy at around 50th jump, i'd want to change it now for what i just bought. "George just lucky i guess!" -
Happy birthday ! May all your wishes come true.

think of what can happen at hard opening? or if you had to deploy a reserve. They open pretty fast you know, and G force at reserve opening is way bigger than at normal canopies. and i bet that even at normal opening weighs would produce some quite big forces on your body/bones... better reconsider putting that much extra weight. "George just lucky i guess!"

Does it come anywhere near to cobalt competition by performance and swooping? how does it handle at slow speeds (flying in brakes). What about recovery arc (long or short)? "George just lucky i guess!"
-
Which method produces more speed for the swoop??
grega replied to rhino's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
so this is a carve after all. then i guess snappy hook turns are the ones that really are snappy. silly me I have another question about front riser input. i'm currently flying atair impulse (alpha) 135 loaded 1.55. and i tried, doing 180, 270, 360 with front riser input, up high of course. And if i want to put the canopy in a dive like they do (canopy is on or near the horizon, from his point of view), i have to pull one of front risers quite far, about 20 inches. but i read and i know that it's not good to pull on risers so much, because you distort the airfoil too much, and could collapse the canopy in extreme cases. so is it ok to pull for about 20 inches, or does that mean that you just can't afford such dives with wingloading 1.55? On the same canopy size 120 loading 1.7 i had to pull riser only about 16 inches to do the same. so the higher the wing loading less you have to pull for a dive like that and less you distort the airfoil. which is better. i understand that. But is it healthy to pull so much (20") on wing loading 1.55, or just wait when i'll be ready for higher wing loading and do carved dives like that then. Btw i won't do that (180 or 270) near ground for many, many jumps, so no need to warning me, because of my fairly low jump numbers. "George just lucky i guess!" -
huh 1. can get here almost whenever i want leave whenever i want 2. get paid very good for a student like myself 3. very friendly boss (he makes me play computer games with him) 4. cool coworkers (one of them skydiver) 5. I'll stop now otherwise someone might hate me "George just lucky i guess!"
