not an expert but it looks like the cut is simliar, due to the rip-stop and the nylon material of the parachute its not as clean of a cut as on the cotten but i would say the story matches. IHYD -

hahhaha i could only imagine driving from san diego to perris and seeing an ultralight flying over head at 60-75mph on his way to the DZ :). that would be awesome! =P.....other than that i have no useful information :) IHYD

Lodi, Ca will be your cheapest bet in the country...not sure of the exact rate but it is. the DZ is not a USPA DZ but the instructors are USPA AFF-I rated and thus you are able to take the A-license stamp and send it in for a rating, Bill Dause just doesnt like USPA. IHYD

Why are there more C licenses than B???

there are a few specialty jumps that require a C/D license and some DZ's have landing areas for C/D license holders (closest to packing area). also in australia there is a new DZ that requires a D license b/c you have to land on the beach. IHYD -

if the wrong person at Fox saw that then there would be lots of issues if they knew that the company sold it like that, they are making money off of a trademarked image. i would say find someone who can adjust them and have them put it on, its doable though. IHYD -
