GM pays back government loans from US, Canada
Southern_Man replied to Lucky...'s topic in Speakers Corner
They gave back part of the loans they got. They also saved a bundle by going into bankruptcy and screwing over their other creditors with U.S. Government assistance. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -

4/14/10 SDA v SR Court Order
Southern_Man replied to MakeItHappen's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Collecting is the tricky part. You can attach tangible assets (machinery) and cash. Hard to imagine there is anywhere near that much in the companies. Since CQ and BB were found personally responsible they can go after any personal assets they have as well. More trips to court to accomplish that. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
Tell her that is normal for skydivers. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

what's your record of jumps in one week?
Southern_Man replied to cacb's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
7 for me, but I'm still brand new in the sport and a weekend jumper. Looking forward to increasing that number (Maybe 3-day Memorial weekend). "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
What makes the best junk food for dipping in milk?
Southern_Man replied to d_squared431's topic in The Bonfire
I never drink milk either. Would not purposely dip anything in it. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
I'd pick somewhere between Albuquerque/Santa Fe area and somwhere in Northern Colorado. Good weather, good topography, access to mountains and hobbies for me, I like the culture/art/architecture out there, etc. Arizona would be too hot for me. Montana is great to visit between May and October but would be awfully desolate a lot of the time. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Income Tax - training and licensing deductions

What mileage are you talking about? Mileage to the drop zone and back? if that's the case then they should have refused it, commuting expenses are not deductible. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -

Ron Paul called Obama a corporatist, just like many republicans. Sounds accurate to me. Privatize the profits, socialize the debts, good work if you can get it. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

There sort of is: through the applicant's health insurance carrier, which will have a record of all medical providers for whom claims from that applicant-patient have been submitted. On the other hand, if someone gets certain medical treatment, prescriptions, etc. from a doctor and simply pays the doctor and pharmacy directly, w/o submitting anything to health insurance, then yes, that would probably be very hard for an investigator to detect. These sorts of disclosures would also be subject to HIPPA laws, though. Not saying it can't be found. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Sure, cause one that big can fit that much in it, of course. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

I am aware of that, but anti depressants will also alter your decision-taking, and your thinking speed... Probably for the good, though, compared to somebody that is more than mildly depressed. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Red Bull's Hi-Altitude Freefall Record Attempt

I wouldn't want them releasting this kind of stuff on April Fool's Day. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
Be honest but do it quickly. Stretching it out is not doing her any favors and is just making it torturous to you. Tear it off all at once like a bandaid. Get it over with. Then cut off contact, at least for a short while. Don't go back. Things won't change. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Really, really bad idea to be hitting on the single moms while they are at the theme park w/ their kids. That's family time and you will come off looking like a creeper. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Beer! "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
That's why I asked if there were tangible assets they could attach. Not sure anybody knows, or if they know, are willing to answer the question. Getting a judgment is one thing, collecting is another. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Should medical marijuana patients be allowed to own guns?
Southern_Man replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Part of the problem w/ the medical marijuana paradism where it is being permitted by the state but still illegal under federal law. Asinine stuff like this is just another reason for me to be in favor of full legalization. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
