My son is looking into relocating to the Orlando area. Any locals down there that can possibly give me an opinion on the Windrift Apartments Orlando, FL 32825?? He is 20, has some tunnel time, some packing skills (although he's never pursued "professionally") makes decent $$ (for a 20yr old), but obviously - long distance knows NOTHING of the locale/area. He's a recent totally unencumbered BACHELOR again, looking to distance himself from a rough break-up (he WAS engaged ...dumbass punk! ) I don't want him making any rash decisions, especially with something like this, where it appears a year's lease/obligation would be required. 2 weekends ago - "Twah" at Chambersburg (one of the regular/staff packers) packed me up (planned/timed) at 4minutes, 22 seconds. I jumped it on the very next load and had an absolutely sweet, smooth, and on-heading opening. No problems, no worries at all. Although he was/is quick - he is still systematic, thorough, "clean" and organized with what he does. On another note, I have seen personally, Matt Davidson (Golden Knight) land 1st down in the landing area - and have himself all re-packed-up, and heading back to the hangar all fully re-packed and ready-to-go, before even everyone in his jump group (I'm not talking about the students and tandems on the load - but WITHIN HIS JUMP GROUP) have landed! That's got to be (although not stopwatch timed) probably within 2, 3 on the very outside, TOTAL minutes. FWIW. "Fast" does not mean necessarily either bad, or messy. Thanks. I realized only after - that I had questioned (replied) to the incorrect originator. Jim - ? I notice that somewhere between late 2006 in this on-going thread & the latest (June 2010) update that you posted - all of a sudden under VA (Virginia) - the CRW-10 mysteriously just disappeared, and in its place "out of nowhere" is FS-100. I don't think this is accurate - so again am asking (just asking ...that's all! ) where that #, and this particular piece of data has come from? I'm not personally aware (doesn't mean it didn't happen) of even an un-official successful 100-way FS having taken place in VA / out of a VA DZ - although I do know 1st-hand, of the official (USPA recognized) current state record, of 88. coitus non circum - Moab Stone

Well... ...How did it go? So awesome that you are trying to get an officially sanctioned record put together there! Unofficially, I am aware of at least a 16-way Diamond being flown @ 8 years ago over Delmarva, during a CReW invitational camp & Casa Boogie. I myself then, took part in a 9-way - but as you note, nothing there (DE) that I know of either, officially "sanctioned" or record submitted/recorded. Awesome to see some "young" fresh CReW interest!!
