    Are we goning to add Static line courses onto this list? --->>> AWWWW hell, here we go again!!! static line isnt quite ready for burial just yet, up here in the northwest, the weather is quite unpredictable and low ceilings are common fall-spring. aff students get to sit on the ground and watch the static line students play. Once the student is off the dope rope, it isnt much different from aff with progressively longer delays. (of course initially your on your own) but you work up to two ways with the instructor at around 15-20 sec delay Roy They say I suffer from insanity.... But I actually enjoy it.

    im already a junkie ---> welcome to our world my .02$ would be to jump the student gear till your about ready to graduate, use their jumpsuits/ altimeters/ helmets..........some of your student landings may more closely resemble an "arrival" rather than a landing....it sucks to tear/damage your own gear..     at my first dz, the landing radius was extremly small, the requirements for students through C license were waivered by the regional director, you got accurate very fast, or you landed in orchards, hop fields, or vinyards..........it was kinda the "get tough or die method"..........LOL.......worked though A lot of jumpers dont give accuracy the attention it should have.........someday at a strange dz you just may be setting your canopy down in a very small backyard, being able to hit your target may keep you out of the hospital.....or morgue...........     Couple of years ago I managed to find the dz owners stash of romanian moonshine, And after an hour or two.. I was steadily approaching nirvana when he came back to the dz and informed me that we had a party of seven tandems that wanted video......wheels up at 9am, I was severely blasted at the time, very .....lucky to find my own ass with both hands much less pack my rig..........but I did manage it, ( attempting ) to be meticulous and carefull.....when I finished I managed to stagger to bed.... the next morning I felt like death warmed over.......after a cup of coffee, some aspirin and a short nap while they were filling the waivers out I almost felt human, but not good enough to repack....LOL, it was a very nice opening......     sounds like your subconciously worried about screwing up.........accept it for what it is, worries/nerves...etc Before most races I used to have a dream about looping over backwards off the triple jump motocrossing...never happend, but it was something I was worried about Roy They say I suffer from insanity....     Fantastic catch!!! good lesson for all of us, know thy rigger!!! Three years ago at a boogie I watched a rigger place the colored boogie ID zip tie around the reserve handle AND the webbing.......effectively locking it in place. he meant to put it on above the handle, but was in a hurry and ......oooooops Roy They say I suffer from insanity.... But I actually enjoy it.
