I'm not confused. In fact, I agree with what you are saying.. however, I will reiterate I also said: "Granted this kid was probably shirking the rules and dressing the way he liked but I still disagree with the duct taping."

NOt my recipe but it is good. God, it's been forever since I've had "real" southern fried chicken. Southern Fried Chicken Recipe Southern fried chicken recipes have been handed down for years and years. This recipe was created by myself by taking the best elements of several of my favorite fried chicken recipes. Fried Chicken Ingredients and Method 1 Large (3 pounds) whole chicken (cut into eighths) 2 cups flour 2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme 2 eggs 2 cups of milk Crisco vegetable shortening (as needed) 1 piece of bacon Fried chicken! Everyone loves the taste of southern fried chicken. This fried chicken recipe was developed by myself by simply taking the best aspects of several good fried chicken recipes and combining them into the following recipe. Fried Chicken Method Thoroughly wash the chicken pieces and reserve on paper towel to dry. Combine the flour with half (one teaspoon) of the salt and place in a large bowl and reserve. Combine all remaining dry spices and herbs in a small bowl and reserve. Once the chicken is dry season with the combined seasoning mix and reserve. In a separate bowl combine the two eggs with the milk and wisk, reserve. Prepare a bread station to setting out left to right the chicken, the egg and milk mixture and finally the flour. This recipe requires that you dip the chicken in the flour twice. First dip the chicken in the milk and egg mixture and then into the flour. Repeat, then reserve the chicken. Using a large cast iron pan with high sides that is suitable for frying, fill the pan until it is almost half filled with the Crisco shortening and the one piece of bacon. Heat the pan over medium high while your coating the chicken. Once you ready to fry the chicken remove the bacon (make sure you do not let the bacon over cook or burn). Place 4 pieces of the chicken into the pan and let them cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flip the chicken over and cook another 6 - 10 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Remove the chicken and reserve. Fry the last four pieces of chicken in the same manner. Serve the chicken warm. Serves 3 to 4

I've been trying to research it but I can't remember the name of the group so it's been impossible for me to dig up. I wonder if the owner would pay to have it flown somewhere?

I quit quite awhile ago. I had tried several times but honestly, I just loved smoking. It was when I was driving somewhere and all of a sudden I could not breathe that changed it for me. I had an asthma attack... I had never had asthma in my life but it was brought on by the smoking. I drove straight to the doctor where they gave me a steroid to take right away and prescribed inhaler. I quit smoking that night and haven't had any asthma symptoms since. so why does smoking suck?? You can't breathe!!

Isn't it funny that those who never had kids are the experts in pregnancy iand parenting.. I say the best mothers are those without children..LOL Honestly, it's like everthing. People are different and the hormones affect everone differently. I was only nauseus in the morning and once I puked I was fine. My food cravings really didn't start till the second trimester. On the other hand, my other cravings were always there..

I just woke up from a nap an hour ago. I worked out this morning and the girl really put me through the ringer. I came home, ate lunch, took a shower and then put on a thunderstorm cd and was asleep in 10 minutes. I slept too long though (2hours) because now I just feel groggy.

I have three children and always send them to school appropriately dressed. I do have one issue though.. My youngest daughter (10) has the teeniest tiniest waist and long legs and it is nearly impossible to find jeans that fit her correctly. I know this because I have been with her in Gap Kids, Ltd. Too, department stores, etc. trying on no less than 20 pair. If they fit her waist they are too short on her legs. The ones that do fit her legs are looser in the waist and yes we've tried slimfits, etc. I have three daughters in all so I am well informed on the different jeans, styles, etc. She usually has to wear a belt but sometimes she just wears a longer shirt. Even with the belt on sometimes when she plays you can see her little power puff girl underwear peeking out. I would be FURIOUS if a teacher put duct tape around my child to keep her pants up. Granted this kid was probably shirking the rules and dressing the way he liked but I still disagree with the duct taping. Parents should have been called and if they could not come right away he should have been made to sit in the office until they could come. ** I'd personally be in favor of school uniforms for public schools

I know at my girls' schools they do drills like that. It's no longer just fire drills, it's intruder drills as well. They have secret codes that they announce over the PA system when an alleged "intruder" is in the building-- " Mr. Hand, the squirrel has dropped his nuts.." Obviously not that but something that instructs the teachers to lock the classroom doors.
