    Rain

It's raining here too. I'm still in my pajamas with the fire going.
  2. Come on.. nothing is better than a Michelobe Ultra
  3. No peas... mandarin oranges, garbanzo beans, frijoles, corn.. no peas. I could go to the store later.
  4. I have a blender and I'm checking for peas in the cupboard now..
  5. I love JRAF and I haven't met Andy yet but met his lovely wife and... NASA... hmmmm they have rocket scientists..
  6. I get randomly selected more than most I think. I have flown about every other week for the past couple months and have been selected about half of those times. I don't carry a rig and I'm not Arab. I think they "randomly select" by ticket actually. The lady showed me on the ticket the symbols that meant I would be selected. I asked her why I was selected so much and she told me to ask the airline because she had no idea. and about drinking... I usually have a glass of wine.
  7. Just to reply to all who asked via PM... I am not pregnant!!!! LOL
  8. I have three already with the youngest being almost 11 and the oldest almost 16. I'll have plenty of help.
  9. oh well... I'll pretend it's good luck My boyfriend is convinced we're going to have twins.
  10. I went to Chicago for New Years to be with my sweetie and for breakfast on New Year's Day we decided to have scrambled eggs, etc. He began cracking open the eggs and the first one had a double yolk. Then the second..double yolk as well. Same for the third. At that point I thought he was somehow doing it so I cracked open up the next two. Both of them double yolks as well----this has to be a sign of good luck, fertility or an interesting chicken. Anyone know about the folklore behind this or if it's really a common occurence. It was the first time I had ever seen a double yolked egg let alone five!! edit.. they were organic, free roaming, cage free , no antibiotics, etc... so they said. Could be a mutant chicken and they lied.
  11. I would and I have.. I can't help it sometimes. I've always lived in suburbia and had never really seen homelessness till I visited JRAF in Pitt and Chicago. It was such a contrast to be walking down the street and see all of these women in fur coats and designer bags and then the guy scrunched up against the building with his cup of coins and literally icicles on his beard. It literally broke my heart. I can't give cash to everyone either...I just feel bad walking past them when they are looking to me for help. I know there are a lot of scammers ..the whole thing makes me sad.
  12. JRAF is on par with tator tots..
  13. When the thought of life without them makes you go fucking crazy .
  14. I don't know about goofy... I think I look stunning..
  15. I don't think it had to do with the word "fuck." People say fuck all of the time. You said to a poster.. "you are a fucking sicko.." Now that does not offend me nor does it offend the person you directed it at but it is "personal attack" as set by the forum rules. That's what TUna was referring to.. (if you allow me to so speak for you, Tuna.) Posts are deleted left and right when personal attacks are used.
  16. ***And my final point is that people in America or the UK or wherever there may be a disaster, tend to have insurance, access to medical aid or at least a government with money...so for us it is maybe a little easier to laugh and joke, we have probably never experienced total loss - the people in Asia have lost everything and will probably never ever get anything back.*** Well here you go...here's your chance to help. http://www.networkforgood.org/topics/international/earthquake/tsunami122604.aspx/?souce=AOL&cmpgn=CRS
  17. ummmmmmmmm... most people here think he's an ass And he is the last person to care about cliques and definitely does not need anyone to defend him. People are expressing their own opinions.
  18. the line is different for everyone
  19. Who's the Author.... I have done it again. One year in every ten I manage it-- A sort of walking miracle, my skin Bright as a Nazi lampshade, My right foot A paperweight, My face featureless, fine Jew linen. Peel off the napkin O my enemy. Do I terrify?-- The nose, the eye pits, the full set of teeth? The sour breath Will vanish in a day. Soon, soon the flesh The grave cave ate will be At home on me And I a smiling woman. I am only thirty. And like the cat I have nine times to die. This is Number Three. What a trash To annihilate each decade. What a million filaments. The peanut-crunching crowd Shoves in to see Them unwrap me hand and foot-- The big strip tease. Gentlemen, ladies These are my hands My knees. I may be skin and bone, Nevertheless, I am the same, identical woman. The first time it happened I was ten. It was an accident. The second time I meant To last it out and not come back at all. I rocked shut As a seashell. They had to call and call And pick the worms off me like sticky pearls. Dying Is an art, like everything else. I do it exceptionally well. I do it so it feels like hell. I do it so it feels real. I guess you could say I've a call. It's easy enough to do it in a cell. It's easy enough to do it and stay put. It's the theatrical Comeback in broad day To the same place, the same face, the same brute Amused shout: 'A miracle!' That knocks me out. There is a charge For the eyeing of my scars, there is a charge For the hearing of my heart-- It really goes. And there is a charge, a very large charge For a word or a touch Or a bit of blood Or a piece of my hair or my clothes. So, so, Herr Doktor. So, Herr Enemy. I am your opus, I am your valuable, The pure gold baby That melts to a shriek. I turn and burn. Do not think I underestimate your great concern. Ash, ash-- You poke and stir. Flesh, bone, there is nothing there-- A cake of soap, A wedding ring, A gold filling. Herr god, Herr Lucifer Beware Beware. Out of the ash I rise with my red hair And I eat men like air.
