I was already paying 180 or so for the jump. Not cheap. As someone who was unfamiliar with the sport for all I knew the instructor was getting most of what I was paying. I saw my TI as a teacher and it NEVER even entered my mind tip him. I tip waitresses , barstaff, my hairstylist, etc. Didn' t know that TI's fell into that group. That's because I know that wait staff depend on tips.... If you reread my post which I copied again for your convenience, I said I was completely unfamiliar with the sport. There was no sign regarding tipping and as I said before I thought the instructor got the entire amount I paid for the jump. I had no clue. Again... I assumed that tandem instructors were just that...instructors and it never even occured to me to tip. Had I known that it was expected I most definitely would have. I did request him for the next two jumps and wrote a letter to the DZO about how wonderful my experience was and how great my instructor was. He told me personally how much he appreciated that. I'll PM him and ask him if he still wants to be tipped Glad you're having fun skydiving everyday but remember that everyone who doesn't tip you doesn't do it to stiff you... maybe they just don't know that you expect it.

Two of my girls had it when they were younger and thankfully have not needed their inhalers in some years now. I know that it can be so scary to see them struggle to breathe. The peak flow meter is a great way to keep on top of it because it will show issues before the child shows symptoms. My youngest played basketball and had the same trouble. We would give her the inhaler before the game and it helped out a great deal. We have cats too but neither of them showed any allergy to cats when tested by the allergist.

I don't see that at all. In fact, most black people I know preferred to be called black instead of African American. Maybe it's different where you live but now anywhere I have lived.

That really breaks my heart. Those little girls are so beautiful and could offer so much to the world. Too bad it will only be a message of hate that their precious minds have been corrupted with.

You know what... that's not funny. It' s insensitive and mean. I know you really have a huge heart so why not show it. Keep it up and the dog is coming to live with us permanently. Like someone else said..go to the doctor. Unless you're really under a lot of stress that seems to be more than average forgetfulness. Better to be on the safe side.

And what happens when the birth control fails which can happen. Are you going to take away their assistance or force abortion.

I saw a documentary on this family and they are amazing. It is true that they are self supporting and as far as babysitting goes each one of the older chidren has one younger child that they look after... a buddy system if you will. This was the most organized family I have ever seen--I guess you have to be with that many children. They had computer stations for homework, etc.... so they are definitely not living without. The kids are learning valuable lessons about life if you ask me. It's not my cup of tea either but these children will grow up to be very productive members of society.

I did get confirmation that he's still alive.. He called me this morning and said he was going into labor. I think he has things very confused. I think it's time for me to get back to Orlando.

congrats on your baby! I know this is off topic of the tv thing although I admit I watch it...including the show that this thread is about. Anyway... my baby was a grape instead of a bean...heeheeheee. Now look at him in my avatar. They were able to see he was a boy at 18 weeks. I'm on the home stretch now. 30 weeks and counting. Speaking of tv shows though... do you ever watch A Baby Story or any of those women giving birth all day on Discovery? I had to quit because it was freaking me out even though I've been through the experience several times already.
